I'm glad you got his point his point either way. I do think the official translation for Kiritsugu's speech was a little better for one line because instead of saying: "Explaining to a demon that enjoys killing in the name of honor and chivalry is a waste of time." versus (official) "There's no point in trying to explain to a murderer who can take pride in things such as honor and glory." It's almost exactly the same but the nuance is slightly different between "enjoying killing in the name of honor and glory" and "a murderer taking pride in honor and glory". The former feel more like he's accusing her of being sadistic while the glory & honor are a disguise to hide behind and the latter feels more like he's calling her a murderer because she was mislead by her ideals which links better to the rest of his speech
