Kotomine’s interest in Angra Mainyu is basically about wanting to feel justified. Kotomine was born with a nature that enjoys suffering, and no matter how hard he tried to live “correctly,” it never changed who he was inside. So when he asks whether Angra Mainyu feels regret after killing everyone, he’s really asking if someone who is born evil can be blamed for acting evil. If Angra Mainyu feels no regret, then his actions aren’t a moral failure, they’re just him being what he is. And if that’s true, then Kotomine doesn’t have to see himself as broken or sinful either.

There's a Heaven's Feel monthly manga that's still ongoing. There's over 100 chapters currently. Funnily enough, they're in the middle of the sex scene between Shirou and Sakura. The manga gives a more detailed experience of the Heaven's Feel story than the movie did if you ever wanted to check that out. More focus on Ilya, Rider and Kirei.
