Were you able to guess who it was? As far as mysteries go, it wasn't a very big one: and that's fine. I think it's important for there to be a mystery aspect to every story, even if it's just for a chapter or two like this one was. Book 4 had the third student of Sensei's to find, after all, and I think that bit of intrigue really adds a lot to a story regardless of genre.
Speaking of genre, thanks to an army of rotten samurai, we've shifted into a certain type of apocalypse story! It's not something I'm a huge fan of, but that's the benefit of having three stories in one book: you're able to go places and play with ideas you otherwise wouldn't dare!
I'm able to step out of my comfort zone with this stuff because I don't have to dedicate 200k+ words to it, you know?

To answer either way would be a spoiler, and I'm not a fan of those, lol! So I won't say. Also, even female MC knows very little about pregnancy (and womanhood) having been "raised" by Sensei.

I joined last night (and binge-read everything because... I'm just that way lol) so it's possible this has been asked/answered before and sorry it's kinda long! but will MCs that said they wanted to make a baby with Jun(ko) have that choice impact the game more at some point? I know that currently it can influence some of MC's thoughts early in the game and that you can kinda talk about it with Kuniko. One of the reasons I'm asking is because there was a scene in Ch. 1 when a female MC that decided to try for a family with Jun says that she's going to (try to) give up drinking because she might be pregnant, but it's never something that she considers again. I also don't think it's mentioned much at all after talking to Kuniko, iirc, which seems weird to me since it seems like something that would stoke more curiosity (especially for a female MC since it's about watching out for your menstrual cycle, which she can actually do) unless I missed something and the Kuniko convo led to the conclusion that there's no baby?
