FYI - There will be New Patreon Sales taxes for patrons in the US, and more. Starting July 1st, 2020.

But basically, just as Patreon added VAT for EU patrons in 2015, they will do so in these countries as well. This means you'll need to pay an upfront tax ontop of the pledged amount (unless you already live in the EU where VAT is applicable). Not news I particularly enjoy giving out, but this is now law.
Please don't hesitate to put your own financial well being over mine. If this change puts you in the red or if you don't agree with it, I will have no trouble if you stop pledging!
