Not sure 8f it's just what I'm use to seeing, but style 1 seems to be more natural to me

Overall I prefer the crispness of 1

I'd say that style 1 is better. Since the comic started I've seen how you've changed to a style more like 2, but I prefer the sharpness that your older pages had, much like 1. I hope my input helps you out.
