I just realized that the handgun Rose has holstered on her thigh must be huge considering how big she is. Really friggin big, like a deagle or something.

It's clear that the two don't see each other often, and the dad's a "spends too much time at work" type, but beyond that, it's somewhat unclear about Jack's overall feelings towards his dad besides being angry he put Rose through this. Hope this is the kinda feedback you were looking for.
