Gallows Canyon was so named after hundreds of conspirators were dragged here one day after a failed coup. Some were executed, some were simply left to die in cages in the scorching sun. Nothing grows here and all life avoids these lands...

We had a PC die on this map! The skull ended up being an entrance to our world's underdark called The Hollow. Thanks for a great map!

I second Jesper’s comment - atmospheric! Did you think when designing it that the skull opening leads to caves, or is that just meant to be an eerie light from the structure?
