i totally understand your fear about crying at the therapist. ive only been once to talk through a major surgery that i had to get and when i tell you i cried the whole time, i could barely get like three full sentences out. it was just a lot of built up sadness and fear because i had to quit the sport i loved. that was one year ago and at the time i thought it was super embarrassing but looking back on it, it was natural. therapists are literally trained to deal with intense emotions and crying is totally ok!

why did that advice almost make me cry and i am not even you, but anyways when i was at my happiest i was almost more anxious/restless - probably not the right wording but from what youre saying it seems like it was similar to what youre feeling rn. someone told me that because i grew up in such a choatic enviornment and kinda had a lot of trauma, that anytime im in a routine or everything is going right for me it makes me extremely nervous and uneasy. as for how to come over that? lol idk. i just really tried to enjoy every day as it came to me - which im sure you already do. maybe this doesnt even pertain to you, but i figured if it COULD help you or even someone else it wouldnt hurt to bring it up. but then again what do i know.

this was a great episode, completely worth the wait imo! (not that i was complaining anyway, you have a life and that comes first) i really respect how vulnerable you can get in these episodes sometimes. as someone who is trying to be less emotionally closed off, it’s really refreshing to see you talk about difficult stuff you experience, especially since you’re doing it for a bunch of ppl u don’t know personally. as for taking down the ai photos u have up, this is a dumb suggestion but maybe you can put ur own drawings up instead? its what i do when i dont wanna buy posters/print out random pictures. i’m not an artist at all but it makes my space feel more personal. sorry for the long-ish comment. you hair looks great!

You’re right! a common misconception about heat flow is that “cold” also flows. like if someone says “you’re letting all the cold air out/in” that’s not how it works. A/C units work by taking the warm air from your room and cooling it with refrigerant and pumping it back into your room while pumping the heat released from that process back outside. Temperature is a measure of the average kinetic energy that all the particles possess in your system, heat (typically denoted q) is a measurement of energy exchange in a thermodynamic process, not a property and object has but simply the (in-out) exchange. In other words, the particles in your podcast space have very high entropy (disorder) because they’re moving really fast, and AC unit would decrease the total entropy in your room but increase the total entropy outside by releasing hot air outside, as the second law of thermodynamics demands this balancing act. anyways put a fan facing away toward the entrance or something stay cool hamzah

For Survivor I would recommend STARTING with Season 28! That's one of the most dramatic ones. It's truly such an amazing show, I can't recommend highly enough, I think you'll be obsessed. Also the bathroom mirror phenomenon is known as "depersonalization" if anyone is interested-- it's nothing to be worried about but it makes a lot of sense especially for someone like you who has so much of your image externalized on the internet!

california norcal in specific. i live in stockton and i have sac 45 minutes from me. sf an hour away. beaches nd forests close by. and hiking areas. stockton also has stuff like crumbl and there’s Barely any traffic. you can get anywhere in the town in like ten minutes.
