Gantu had never had a case quite like Chad— clearly, the humans had a natural talent for espionage the likes of which he had never seen amongst the species of the Galactic Federation. His prolonged beach vacation had become a covert investigation, to figure out what this Chad knew, why he was so interested in Gantu, and who he was working for. To get to the bottom of this, Gantu had to keep playing Chad's game, accepting every snack from him— and soon, there was a change in the pattern. Chad's offerings, the ice pops, the small bags of chips, they started getting bigger.
"With an appetite like yours, big guy, I figured you needed something with a little more oomph," he said, handing over a gigantic ice cream cone, stacked high with multiple scoops—by Gantu's reckoning, he was just handed every single flavor and topping available from the ice cream stand. Which was good, because he had come to like every flavor. Earth food was much more diverse than the cuisine on Kreplok 8.
And thanks to Chad, he had so many opportunities to savor it all— he was, to use an Earth-based comparison, growing to be particularly whale-like. His toned musculature was now thoroughly insulated, hidden under several layers of fluffed-up, chunky blubber. His gut had billowed out in waves until it was bigger than a wrecking ball, and even the biggest of his custom-made shorts were starting to split over his enormous, fatty rump and wobbling thunder thighs. He didn't know quite what to think about all this excess weight— he could work it all off, barring some annoying quips from 625— but Chad seemed to like it. Encouraged it, even. Perhaps he could lull him into a false sense of security, thinking he was becoming weak and corpulent? What did he want?
"Man, you'll eat just about anything, won't you, big guy?" Chad chuckled as Gantu finished off his latest treat. "Listen— I think it's time we get to know each other a bit better. I'd love to take you out to a luau, see what this guy can really do. And then afterwards… maybe we can see what the rest of you can do," the tanned human said, giving a handful of the fat on Gantu's rear a firm squeeze, that made the bulky alien gasp.
Oh. That's what he wanted.
