Yamamoto sees Kyoraku and Ukitake as his sons (and they him as their father). After we got Yamamoto and Chojiros backstory they way I then saw their relationship was also more like father and son. With Chojiro being his first born and most faithful son. As describing them as bestfriends does not seem to cover the depth of their relationship. Now that my opinion is out of the way, good video (not saying that just because Yamamoto is my shared second favorite character).
