My reason may sound very niche, but I feel like we rarely see diverse body types in Shonen, Bleach included. This is why I appreciate two of the strongest soul reapers being of a larger body-type. They’re often the butt of the joke (Omaeda), so it’s very refreshing to see. I chose Hikifune specifically because she’s going to be an underdog pick for sure, but I love all the members of the Zero Division. Osho is of course the goat! I love and hate him equally-the signs of a brilliantly written character. TYBW is improving all of them.

Cour 2 finale is tomorrow!!! I bet it’s gonna be great. And for my favorite? Tenjiro has to be it! His shikai is implied to be light-based, which is a power I always love, the idea of wielding boiling water as a weapon is pretty cool imo.
