I assume their speed is just faster in universe than back in SS arc. But for pacing reasons the fight itself is the same speed so we can. Comprehend it. I’m not entirely sure about it but bayakuya also improved with ichigo. So if they rematched I’m sure it wouldn’t be one sided.

I'm glad you mentioned Senbonzakura. I saw Uryu's new Voll Stern Dich, and that immediately came to mind--and also the fact that Ichigo, with his brand-new bankai, took out every petal of Senbonzakura's attack. So it actually annoyed me that Ichigo, so much closer to his full potential, felt overwhelmed by Uryu's attack. Are we supposed to take away that this is just how much more powerful Uryu's new powers are?

Such a good episode & reaction just so excited for this every week has to be huge changes coming with Ichigos Vs askin and yhwach, Uryu and haschwalth. The place Uryu shot ichigo was the same place he shot Mayuri in letzt still right?

That and they REALLY need to stick the landing with Ichigos actual power, he's shown loads but we know there's two more levels to his power he's not accessed yet which... I know why narratively... but feels a bit weird right particularly Vs yhwach

Loved the reaction, this is probably the first time in a while I've seen you really lost for words but having so much to say. I agree this adaption is incredible and they really are doing their best. As for Uryuu, I wouldn't be surprised if he got another form/upgrade and I'm interested in how the rest of the story will play out because I'm sure tons more changes and additions are coming.

With the new feats of: -Making Askin’s hair blow in the wind -Blocking a strike from Gerard Chad might be a contender for the top 10 strongest in bleach, surely. All jokes aside, Ichigo vs Uryu was ABSOLUTELY amazing! I loved his Vollstandig design, it’s so sleek and simple, with all the arrowhead-looking design pieces. I cannot WAIT for the review. Also, I think Gerard carrying Pernida back up is really funny. It’s like they’re best friends.

god i am PRAYING that ichigo is shown using hollow regeneration instead of orihime healing him, he is using blut consciously now and i hope he uses his hollow side more to show he truly accepts both sides powers as his own, other than that i really like uryu's volstandich, it combos PERFECTLY with his schrift, imagine how nimble and hard to hit uryu is when using A to its fullest abilities,
