Howdy! Here’s what’s up:
This post is completely focused on Katya - her new appearance, her older content and her planned content. Some of it will be a part of the upcoming version, but more on that in my progress report.
I already made all versions of Katya for all the upcoming polls, because I want to focus on the text and H-event art for the upcoming release with no distractions.
Katya will have:
- Body type poll
- Hair color poll
- Breast size poll
- Details poll (Augs, tats, piercings)
- ”Work” outfit poll
- ”Dorm” outfit poll
- Transformation path poll
The first two polls are up and running right now.
Now I’ll give you more details and there may be some things that you already know (like her planned dorm and shop interactions)
Above you can see the upgraded version of Katya.
This version is close to the original, it just has more details, a better looking face and her tattoo actually looks like a tattoo now. The hair, body and lips colors are exactly the same, they all just have a different amount of shadows and light (lips are less glossy because I went for a “matte” style for example).
I can create more versions, with her sleeve tattoo covering just her forearms (like it used to) and with her lipstick being more glossy, but those are minor things and there’s already plenty of more important issues to vote for.
I mean, we can technically decide every minor aspect of her (like lip gloss), but that would take forever and I think I spent too much time on her as it is already.
That said, now that I showed you a version that is similar to the original, I wanna talk about the changes that I want to implement.
I want Katya to be more “buff”, with her abs showing and all that, I also wanted to make her hair more vibrant and add some augmentations to her. All for the sake of making our female NPCs more diverse and unique in their appearance.
Since most of you liked how Shwift/Polina looked with her Augs, I thought we should have more characters with cyberware and Katya, as a character, is perfect for that since she works at AUGS shop.
Above you can see one of the versions of Katya’s “work” uniform I created. I'll show you more when we get to her outfit polls in the future. But let's talk about this one and the idea behind it.
As an AUGs shop worker, Katya is required to have augmentations and to show them off to the customers - which is why her outfit covers so little. That of course, if we will go this route - different poll results will change the lore behind Katya’s appearance.
It’s also worth mentioning that we still fully intend to implement the AUG’s shop job and Kira will wear the exact same outfit Katya does on the job.
Speaking of the job itself, it’s one of the “three pillars of Katya” - three key places that will determine her character and will have a bunch of H-events.
On this planned job, I want Kira to be harassed by both Katya and the Customers. Kira will have to work behind the counter, so there will be plenty of H-event that you might expect from this kind of a job - Working while being discreetly stuffed full of sextoys. Allowing consumers to get more handsy or full blown fucking while “making a sale”
If Kira is dating Katya - Katya will harass her and scare off the customers
If Kira is NOT dating Katya - Katya won’t protect her
If Katya went through the “New You” - she will bypass all restrictions
The second “pillar” is the dorm, that’s where most of the “dating” action will happen.
As you can see I have upgraded the kissing scene to make it more “juicy” and also added Katya to the scissoring H-event as a potential partner.
I plan to make Katya more “active” - she will routinely check whether or not Kira is being a good girl and staying “edged up” (a buff that we want to implement).
To not make this “check” too annoying it will be done via cut-ins at the start of every conversation you’ll have with Katya. Same thing with “the kiss” - it will become a repeatable cut-in.
With some % chance Katya will “go on a hunt” and run after you every time you enter the dorm, sleep or have a shower. This will result in some repeatable H -event being triggered with the end goal of making Kira “edged up”.
Katya will also issue some punishments for disobedient Kira’s or obedient Kira’s that think they should be punished.
Obedient Kiras will also have an option to just ask Katya for sex and pick from available options.
Disobey Katya too often and she’ll threaten to break up with you, which will end your relationship (in case you’ll get tired of her or dislike her content)
In the dorm, the fact whether or not Katya went to the New You doesn’t matter that much, because she doesn’t have any power over you (unlike her job, where she is technically your boss).
Overall, I already have plenty of H-scenes that could be added to “Dorm” Katya right now, but in order for it all to work we need buffs, spanking events and shower masturbation event (at the very least).
I think we will start implementing this sometime next year, in between of “Vivarium” updates to spice things up.
The final “pillar” of Katya’s content is her New You route. And this is where things get a little bit murky - I originally planned to make Katya follow in Kira’s footsteps, get fake lips, intelligence reductions and all that.
But, not so long ago, I asked you all about NPC transformations and we all decided that Kira should always be the main focus of everything and that our transformable NPCs will only have one route.
Now, this “route” it’s mainly for art - it’s just really difficult to layer our H-events and it takes too much time to do so, adding NPC transformation on top of Kira’s will lead to me spending even more time on our events and we can’t afford that.
So, Katya’s transformation route will be decided via polls - it will determine how she will change visibly and what will be her main fetish (slut, bimbo, cow, pet, etc.).
I’m open for suggestions - please do write a comment on what transformation you’d like to see for Katya and I’ll include it in our polls.
Apart from that, her “changes” will work like an overlay - they will alter her behavior everywhere, at the dorm, at the shop and in the main quest. You will be able to control how much she changes on one of the routes via picking different individual options of her one planned transformation path.
On the other route, you won’t control her, but you’ll get to be transformed with her - Katya will insist on you going to therapy with her and you’ll pick how much you want Kira to change along with her.
Btw, in order to trigger the “Katya transformation” path - You have to sacrifice her during the prison escape (send her to the pole), but we will add an option to go to the pole together with her at some point (when we’ll get to layering the first pole event).
In any case, there will probably be a cheat that enables her transformations once we’ll get to this path, so you don’t have to replay the game yet.
It’s also worth mentioning that all our important NPCs are not just “playersexual”, they’re also “playerkinksexual” - for example, Katya will milk Kira if that fetish is enabled (not implemented yet).
I think that’s all, but I might have forgotten something.
If this sounds like too much work, it’s because it is a lot of work. But fear not! For this is nothing unusual for us. There’s plenty of other “shadow” choices that are already in the game and each line of dialogue has multiple options already. Some options aren’t even accessible yet, but they are already written and coded in where they are relevant (like pregnancy and petplay training, for example).
That said, please do write your suggestions for Katya’s “transformation path” in the comments, just remember that there can only be one path and we will poll you on which one.

Just thought of something else that could be done with the AUG's programming permitting. Maybe have certain AUGs grant bonuses and/or penalties depending on what's chosen or used. Having an AUG that boosts Kira's Charisma at the cost of her Intelligence or Body could make for some interesting gameplay scenarios.

I’m not sure what you mean, is this a general suggestion or a suggested path for Katya? Because we can do either one or both. We could potentially make it a “petplay” thing, with Katya being more animal-like, have animalistic canine implants and her desires being centered around the protection/control of the cows.

I have nothing against futas, I’m just not sure how to properly tackle this theme. I mean, this is a fetish, so it has to be optional. So the option of her having a dick will result in an alternative reality where she has a dick - it can be done, it’s just more difficult than say a regular cow TF. That said, I’ll include this option in the polls - a dominant muscular “cyber cow/bull” that is either a futa or not.

I think NPCs should have a good variety of TF paths (even if they all win the bimbo/cow polls). TF paths should fit/enhance the character's kinks and desires, and they would be easier to be implemented if their new personality runs somewhat parallel to their initial selves. So, considering this. Katya has domme vibes, she wants to play with Kira, get her under her control. Her TF path is in New You, so needs to be something they can use. Would be nice if she got some specific AUGs from her TF path. I think Katya should have a "Bull" path. Enhance her alpha personality, make her more dommy. It would be a good excuse to add a more muscular version of her if that doesn't win the poll. It might go a bit against the "edged up", though it could work a bit like the dream sequence where Kira gets edged to make sure she yearns to get bred. It could happen as glitch while undergoing the cow path, it could be made on purpose at the New You facility (something like, they get her ready to become a cow, but with a secret mission to actually take control of some cows and repurpose them to the New You facility), or just her own sheer willpower making so even though she becomes a cow, she keeps her dominant side. As far as TFs go, I think becoming more muscular would be fitting. The idea above to have AUG horns would be perfect too. I think there's no plans to add futas to this game, yes? Then maybe she develops a high tech strapon that's actually just made so that she can inseminate cows herself? Personally I would like most of the cow TFs to also be included. (Bigger breasts, and lactation/breeding fetishes if enabled)

I love Notalie and Pringles ideas and I agree with Illien. However, rather than making sense for the government, I think it should make sense for Gulag and the prison. The transformation I'm thinking of would be complete obedience/loyalty to Gulag and the prison because I think it makes sense that he would try to make sure of that since her crime was helping someone escape the prison. I think this gives betraying Katya have an actual bad consequence... Because by the end of her transformation, Kira will have lost an ally. The transformed Katya would a queen and enforcer for Gulag, having the same morality, cruelty and fetish for control. And also maybe latex/leather because I think that fits the theme. This could probably even be taken to extremes such as her need for controlling others giving her a kink for objectification. Basically, she would get off on turning the people she controls into sex dolls who can't think for themselves beyond what their master tells them.

For me, Katya's transformation should keep her as a domme, but at the same time make sense for the government to do. I think Notalie Portman suggestion of a yandere-ish type would fit. Another option to follow this would be keeping most of her persona, but making her more cruel and ruthless, trying to make Kira submissive and defenseless not just to her but to everyone without regards for her well being (obviously pushing her towards new you and such)

I think katya show stay a dom, I believe Katya is a good opportunity for scenes with lots of toys and various accessories in a bdsm way, that's what I would love to see of course but, as long as we can choose, it's OK.

That can be done, but given the fact that all our major NPCs can only have one transformation path, would you really prefer everyone to follow the same one? Or would you rather see them all have something unique? In any case, since the polls will decide all paths, it is technically possible for the cow option to win every poll for every transformable girl. And I’ll make sure to include Bimbo/Cow as a transformation option in the upcoming Katya path poll.

All great suggestions, especially the “Cow horns as an Augmentation”, I think we can add something like this to Kira without any problems, because we do have a couple of unused layers reserved for “augs”. As for how drastically Katya can change visibly, I think we’ll have separate polls for that - first we’ve got to pick the general direction of her transformations.

There’s already a female character like that in the game, you just don’t know who yet :P However, if you’d like, we can add this “stalker” transformation path to the list of Katya’s potential transformations as well, I’m just not sure how it will impact Katya’s appearance (darker vibes? goth? Gimbo?)

I would really like Katya as a somewhat menacing stalker type because there’s something wrong with me. To be clear - still with romantic intentions, just creepy and obsessed. Maybe also she has an idea that she can craft Kira into whatever she considers her best self, which is obviously some variety of lewd self.

Art's looking wonderful, and the idea of a more muscular Katya is unique as opposed to the rest of Kira's roommates. If I had to give my two cents in terms of transformations I think it there should be a threshold or counter of some kind where Kira's chosen path locks in Katya's resulting transformation. I also think the transformations shouldn't be as pronounced as Kira's and the others. Rather that they should be a tad more subtle given she works as an AUG worker. If Kira was on the 'Cow' route for example having her use AUGs to give herself horns or cow ears would likely be enough to get the idea across. Also I think if she goes the 'Bimbo' route that there should be consequences Kira could suffer if she goes there for items or services, like accidentally making Kira's chest larger or lips bigger. I like Pringles' suggestion of a head dorm bitch, where getting involved or lack of involvement should have consequences. Admittedly it would be interesting to see how Katya might augment some of the girls depending on what route she's on. As for personal preferences when it comes to transformations, I'm gonna have to say the 'Cow' transformation because I think it would be interesting to see her and Kira revel in fertility and having kids.

The art looks great as usual! Also appreciate muscle Katya, it really makes her stand out. In regards to Katya's transformation path I think it would be very cool if it interacted with Liuda and her path in some way. My armchair assessment is that they don't seem to like each other at all, while also being domineering of the other two girls at the dorm (Kira and Nadia). It'd be nice if Katya's transformation path basically made her end up like Nadia (and Kira if she goes that route), basically a slut at the future massage parlor. This suggestion also applies in the reverse with Liuda's transformation path, she would end up as a slut working under Katya at the AUGs shop. Doing something like this would make the player either have to choose Katya or Liuda as the head dorm bitch, or try not to get involved which could have its own consequences. Either way, my vote would be for a slut transformation, possibly as a New You agent to try and sabotage/punish Kira into going to New You as often as possible if Kira left her to the pole.
