Howdy! Here’s what’s up:
We can see the light at the end of a tunnel, it’s really alluring, but we still have a lot of work to do.
I want to give you a better idea of why it’s taking so long and what are we even doing, but I don’t want to ruin your experience by spoiling things. So, here’s a compromise - I’ve created an image that accurately conveys everything that will happen in the upcoming update.
I did my best to omit the details, but it still spoils pretty much everything that will happen. So, I ask you to just trust us and not look at it, not until you’ve played the upcoming version. Then, after you experience V0.5c as intended - feel free to check this picture out and see what other options and routes the update has to offer.

The vast majority of the things shown in the picture above have already been implemented, but we are not done with everything yet.
This turned out to be a rather big update, but I know not everyone likes what I write (At least not all of it), so there’s a lot of optional dialogue and “space out” options, which makes this update really dense in content - almost every interaction has an event attached to it (lewd or not).
That said, here’s something I can share and the details I consider to be spoiler-free:
Above is the newer face for “Red” Kira, whose name I’ve changed 4 times already and didn’t commit to a single one.
Crimson Queen, Killer Queen, Wrath, Her Majesty - I think she will be called all of that. I'll just pass on my indecisiveness to her character, but for convenience I’ll keep referring to her as “Red Kira”.
As for her new face, it isn’t really new - it’s the same frontal face Kira has in the game right now, just with a different lighting/shadow, it’s akin to make-up. I wanted her to look more threatening and soulless, and I hope with this I managed to do that.
Some of you may remember that over a year ago we started (and didn’t finish) the polls in regards to her “default” appearance. The only poll we conducted back then, was her hairstyle - so her hair is the only final thing about her current appearance.
Consider the rest of her body (face, body, ass, breasts, augs) to be a placeholder - there will be polls to determine all that at a later date.
Now, about the scene you see on the main picture of this post - it happens at the very end of “A Modest Proposal” Quest and it’s just a half of what I drew for it.
I initially just wrote the interaction between the Kira’s, which is just a prelude to the “Fetish Removal” system, with an intent of using regular dialogue art, but I thought since this is the end of an important main quest - it should have something visually interesting, which is how this “Red Kira” event was born.
It is already finished and it was relatively easy to make due to the Red Kira not having any layers, but still - it took some time to make this.
That’s how much I can tell you without going too far into the spoiler territory, but there is another thing I’d like to mention:
That’s an egg, wait, no - that’s the N9 prototype thingy you got from the “New You” quest.
I’m showing it because there will be some changes to how it works and what it is. Basically, it’s a MacGuffin - something Kira needed to advance the plot, but MacGuffins don’t have to be just that, they can be interesting.
So, I’m giving it more background, while simultaneously nerfing it.
Now, instead of just being a plot device, it will have a fucked up background and will have it’s own will - it won’t let you just use it on anyone, instead it will shake whenever it wants you to use it.
More details will be provided in the game itself, but that’s the gist of it. And while I’m at it, I want to make the choice of using it on the Chief Officer more obvious - it will clearly state that it wants you to do the [Redacted] to him and that [Redacted] might replace him.
In my opinion, replaying the entire game just to see this little alteration isn’t worth it, so I’ve decided to inform you about this here, in a post.
I’m not sure we will implement this change in this update, because any changes require Moana to test them and this is not our priority right now. But, the second part of “A Modest Proposal” references this thingy and without this information you might’ve wondered why.
Overall, we’re optimistic and it looks like this update will be one of the good ones. We just need more time to work on it and I wholeheartedly thank you all for giving us this time.
The third Katya’s “job” outfit (mechanic) won with an overwhelming majority and we’ll start her “dorm” outfit sometime next week (probably). I just have a lot of work to do and I’m trying to balance my patreon activity with the more burning things I need for the update to happen.

Red Kira looks soul less for sure. I'm not sure she looks dangerous...just kinda kints at it. Her old art was very explicit about the danger, I think. Plus, I feel this completely changes the Aura and personality of Red Kira. I mean, in terms of the 7 deadly sins, if the old version could be Greed, this one seems like Sloth. You know what I mean?

N9 is not that important, N7 is what she’s really after, but I get your metaphor and if I’ll reveal who Mr. House is - I’ll ruin the mystery (You will be able to piece this out yourself, and closer to the end it will be straight up revealed without any ambiguity).

I mean, this is Kira’s story, all of this revolves around her and all events in the upcoming update have Kira. But, right after this update, we will work on Moana’s quest, which will have a lewd mini-job for Kira (no other girls involved), and we do plan to introduce the AUGs shop job this year. The continuation of the farm corruption is also scheduled for this year, so you can expect to see all that after we’ll drop this version and be done with the main plot (for a while).

Hey Mulan interesting things you have in this update, hopefully more stuff sure will come. I think Red Kira is noble and worthy of a reference to King Crimson (British progressive rock band was also referenced heavily in Jojo's Bizzare adventure pt. 5:Golden Wind) Name the ending with her something as: "In the court of the Crimson Queen" or you'll miss the opportunity.

Gotta say I'm interested in seeing how Red and Pink's personalities will eventually clash. Because it would be interesting to see how leaning into either personality affects the other, possibly having small affects on their appearances. For example, Red becoming more domme themed as she herself is corrupted if Kira leans to hard into Pink's influence. The same goes for Pink with her becoming colder or open to more extreme forms of pleasure. Either way good update and a good preview of what's to come.

Insert scene where they battle for Red supremacy, Red Kira clearly wins, and now Red is (F)red.. or Red 2.

Can we get more focus on Kira's story, and on her 'jobs'. Feels like we're not getting any progress in that area, except more cosmetic things, instead of more lewd things.

Since Red is already a character in the game, it'd be pretty funny for Red Kira to get pissed every time she saw him if both of them were named Red.

Awesome progress report! I know there are many names for Kira's sadistic/dom persona, but if there had to be a default one, I like "Red" - if not simply for the "Pink" persona alternative. Also I greatly enjoy your writing, but the skip dialog option is nice when starting a new game to see updates. Thanks, Mulan!
