Sleep event is out! The whole idea was to make quick updates with small things that are easy to make, this was absolutely not the case. There’s so much stuff and things that are all tied to “sleep” that we ended up with 11 different versions of sleep and a bunch of blocks that can or can’t happen in a certain order.
I don’t really view this as a problem, it’s just part of the creative work - you get more ideas once you start doing something, but we did some thinking and I believe we identified how this particular situation could’ve been avoided.
So, in a nutshell, there will be some new requirements for the “fast updates” and limits that we’ll enforce on ourselves in order to actually make them fast. We are aiming to make the next update “a major one”, but in case of “taking too long” situation a fast update will come sooner than this time. From other news, we started renting out an office for multiple reasons and I’ll talk in detail about everything in this post. But first, here’s the “sleep” update:

- New sleeping art for Kira (layered)
By default, Kira sleeps wearing a “nightgown” and under the blanket
Kira can sleep without a blanket
Kira can sleep without panties
Kira can sleep without a bra
Kira can sleep with Katya
All option are customizable via the dorm clock
- Updated the dorm intro to explain all of the above (and fixed some typos)
- Updated all existing instances where something wakes Kira up at the dorm (Party quest, Legion, etc.)
- Updated the natural “no panties” fetish acquisition
Condition: Kira sleeps without panties (“nightgown” ones)
Short daily thoughts from “Lust” for the first 9 days
Mini H-event on day 10 that adds “No panties” fetish to Kira
- Added a first regular intro short “sleep” event
- Added a first short “sleeping with Katya” event
- Added the exhibitionism sleep thought
Condition: Kira has any exhibitionism fetish (Chief Officer events)
- Added the public use sleep thought
Condition: Kira has “public use” fetish (Benevolence training event, New You)
- Added the lactation sleep thought
Condition: Kira is lactating
This one gets extended if Kira has “lactation” Fetish
- Added the cum sleep thought (on face or breasts)
Condition: Kira is sleeping while covered in cum
- Added the creampie sleep thought
Condition: Kira is sleeping with vaginal cum
This one gets extended if Kira has “pregnancy” Fetish
- Moana went through the entire game and fixed all instances she could find where Kira’s dialogue art was still glitching due to Kira saying multiple lines in a row. (This was a huge piece of work that she was doing over the course of multiple months). If you still encounter Kira’s bust glitching, please report this.
Note: The dreams vary in length, some have “first time/second time” logic, others have two different options. For now, the probability of them happening is guaranteed, because the update is about them.
We can add sleeping pills that would just skip the dream part, we can put the dreams on an rng probability or both. It all depends on how you feel about them, so please do share your feedback!
Note:Note: Pretty much everything is tied to “sleep” (quests, events, stats), we had to test and fix the entire game on all routes to ensure that nothing gets broken, but it’s possible that we missed something or that one of our bug fixes broke something else. I hope that’s not the case, but please do report on any bugs you may find.
The sleep event ended up being similar to the shower in terms of complexity. We also did it with future events in mind, events like - sex, subconscious masturbation, sleeping while wearing the milkpump, sleeping with sextoys equipped.
All those options will be added to the alarm clock when we will work on them, which will be determined via a poll.
And here’s the logic it follows:
In order to make all of the above work, we had to create 11 separate instances of a sleep event, but I’m kind of glad that we did it now and not earlier in the game. Since with everything that’s already going on, we managed to create what I believe to be a final version of “sleep”, we won’t have to redo it.
I also experimented with all potential sleep things that could theoretically happen, in order to create the artwork (Sleeping in prison is rather dangerous and I’ve heard Kira’s dorm has some perverts). So it all should be easily expandable in the future.
As per usual, all art and text displays how Kira is looking and behaving (Lust, Int, fetishes, appearance). We just did 5 thoughts, but they’re 18 pages long because of everything that can be referenced in them.
All in all, it was a piece of work and in no way was this update easy or quick.
Speaking of quick updates - Like I’ve said, we thought it would be easy. Just one picture of Kira sleeping and some random one liners about quests, but when we started redoing the older sleep events, we thought - what else would we need in a sleep event? One thing led to another, and you know the rest.
So, in order to avoid this from happening again and actually do create quick updates, we’re now adjusting their roster:
The new requirement for things that can go on this list is rather simple - the events need to have existing artwork.
I’ll first write the event, Moana would code it in with existing art and only after that we’d try to add some new artworks to it (different partner, outfit, cut-in, etc.) if we’ll have time for that.
In other news, we started renting an office. Nothing fancy, just a small separate room in a co-working place, but it gets the job done. It’s 4.5 kilometers away and I don’t know how to drive, so I’ve been walking there, but that’s cool, because sometimes the hand of evolution must be forced. By walking this much my body shall adapt and transform, I shall get myself a strong leg and a pouch for laptops/snacks. I expect the pouch to come in any day now.
We can’t be there every day (damn those other responsibilities that stand in the way of making more naked ladies for the internet!), but we do make a point to appear there at least 3 times a week.
The reasons for this are quite simple:
- We want to become more disciplined and at the office there’s literally nothing else to do, plus we’re paying for it, which serves as an extra incentive to not waste any time. The consistency of updates will slowly but steadily build up.
- For years, there was no line between our work and personal life, we did everything at home, which wasn’t that bad, but I’d like to try a different approach.
- We’ve been warned by the government that this winter will be extremely tough, long periods of time with no electricity and all that fun stuff. We have batteries, but if everything will be as bad as they say, we won’t have time to charge them. The office fixes this issue, they have their own generator and starlink. So we’re now prepared for whatever comes our way.
- Evolution, because who doesn’t want a laptop pouch? (Moana wanted me to specify that this goal is mine alone.)
All and all, things are fine, I really hope that you can see that we’re not just sitting around and are trying to improve. I don’t think we will magically become super fast with the changes I listed in this post, but I do think it’s a step in the right direction.
Even though we are aiming to make the next update a major one, we still would like to know which “fast update” option you’d like to see in the game next.

Hi, Thank you! Your concern is valid and it is something we’re trying to resolve. The short answer would be “time” and our attention span, we can’t do everything at once so we’re shifting our attention from one place to another, we also tend to not finish content and focus on adding a “new shiny thing”. Vivarium is big, and when we were working on it, some players really disliked it and asked us to advance the main story. This fact also played a role in our decision to stop working on it for a while. So, right now we’re trying to become more organized and to deliver updates faster. This summer we advanced the main story and in the next “major” update we want to finish said advancement by layering the pole event (and adding more stuff to it) - We want to finish what we started. Then we’re doing Moana’s quest (if you’ll like it - she’ll join me as a writer and we’ll be able to work even faster). Then we’re doing the stats/fetishes overhaul which will include the “briefing” event with the rebel leadership and this is where Vivarium comes back into the picture. The thing about Vivarium is that it was always meant to be a part of a main storyline, a part that can be completed before Kira gets asked to do so. The briefing event will tie in the main story with Vivarium and then we’ll return to work on it. But that’s not all. Vivarium has more body mods in store for the Kira (even bigger breasts, pregnancy, other things) and we really needed to finish layering existing events, Kira’s dialogue art and add in more dialogue references for the consequences of Kira’s stay at Vivarium to be meaningful. All this time we’ve been doing that. All our new events have all breast sizes and pregnancy included in both text and art. In other words - we’ve been preparing for the continuation of the Vivarium arc, we did not abandon it or forgot about it at all. As for the movie's arc - we can bring it back, but then there will be even more unfinished stuff in our game, so it’s temporarily locked. We’ll return to work on it after the Vivarium. There’s more reasons and nuances, but I think I should stop here, apologies for making this response so long :)

congrats on the office shift, just wanted to add feed back, on all the previous updates there have been new stuff but my main concern is the main story and side paths, there has been nothing on the cow path, mother path, nothing for the 3rd representative in other area (forgotten name) and nothing for the film side quest. its been like this for a few years so I'm curious as to why nothing has been added besides the prison to keep players interested as once you do everything, there is nothing to pursue or keep playing on

So I found this weird little sleep bug thats got me stuck in a loop! Got caught by the security guy a couple of time, so had to sleep away from home for a few night. Once I got to sleep in my own bed just continously cycled through sleeping without being able to continue.
