... I mean, I've known he's had some trust issues considering that, you know, he was betrayed and killed, and I knew he was always a bit guarded around all of us... but I didn't think it was that bad that he didn't even trust me.

I don't really understand why the cultivation art he had in Spirit Manifestation to boost his body cultivation past 100% existed since he never used it once? Unless i misremember it was only for that realm, but now he's skipped the entire use-case. Still enjoyable though

That doesn't mean Lu will never be able to, just that they weren't. Well, maybe. Time will tell. Long Tao says he will, so let's see if this road block can be overcome with his help. Sounds like it's none of the Seven Emperors behind the System, and that even with the system at it's current level it can protect him against them in all but the most direct of confrontations. Maybe completely when the system is higher level? Still leaves open the question of who is his...sponsor, for lack of a better term. The Dao itself? Thanks for the chapter!

Ah, the dopamine from the reward is excellent. Not sure how I feel about that [???] skill though, but I have never been one to like *copy all the powers* stories. Also, I think I would choose either to level up the system, or the reward for any of your disciples doing something worth remembering, or the minor trait for [Sage]
