Curiosity question; the two locked rooms below the church (to the right of the nun's room), did I miss the opportunity to open them earlier in the game? Nothing I try works. Granted, I'm also still missing some crafting recipes meaning I may be missing something there too.

I'm having this exact issue on Android with the fountain of youth scene. Every time it gets to Clare, I just get a black screen with sound but nothing happens. I've tried reinstalling the game and it still happens. Any suggestions NLT?

Hey nlt, I can't download the latest version. I try and it says error access denied. I need help.

Try updating your video drivers. Also, make sure your GPU is set to be used by the game. Sometimes it defaults to CPU (especially on laptops). If it's still happening, check to see what other programs are using the GPU and close them while the game is running to make sure it's not some sort of strange conflict. If these things don't work for some reason, try playing at nlt-media.net using your browser.

I keep getting the same bug where the game screen freezes but based on sound the game is still running. It happens so often that it’s really close to unplayable. Only thing that fixes it is restarting. Any idea on how to fix it or should I just re install?

OH - can’t believe I missed that - and I thought I rechecked every screen while looking for those special blue talisman plates! I should have known the “inspections” ranger was a clue - as they don’t leave things to chance (except for Bruce). Thank you! :-)

is there a way to get an extra key for the one you get by doing the snake puzzles correctly without getting bit? I was unaware of it and saved my game so I can't go back.

Just had one quick mention - everything is working perfectly, and I’ve played through getting all achievements and things from the beginning. But, I’ve noticed that, after the gold talisman pickup bonus and the last scenes, I finally had enough money to get the statues to finish off my home renovations. However, it hasn’t unlocked the “get all home renovations” lock for the temple puzzles. It’s been solid play through - no hacks, cheats, mods, nothing to interfere with game play. Please let me know if I need to do something else to trigger that to unlock. I still have some puzzles to work through and the Bruce unlock - just down to the last three unlocks and some more puzzles. Thank you!

Wow - that update was amazing! Loved those new scenes! I know there is still new content, but I imagine there’s probably a pregnancy surprise at least sometime soon…if not multiple. Hopefully, Janet - that would be a nice ending. :-) The Evie scene was epic! Great work!

is it just me or are there way less chest keys than there are chests? Including the chest keys you get from crafting, there still seem to be a lot of chest that I can't open. I still have at least 6 or 7 chests to open. I also have an attic key that goes no where and what's the deal with the lockers at the clinic? I can't find anything to open them.

Unfortunately I move recently and also built a new computer, and in the process, lost my drives and lost all of my files. Having to re-download ToN and start back on day one :( Is there any way to recover my progress? I have used the Auto-Updater since day one and I've been a long time supporter. Just looking to play where I left off :( Please let me know!

You don't have to start over. There are saves for any point in the game.

Have you restarted the launcher? If it's consistent, try going to the install directory for your launcher and then delete the www folder.

I have been at it for a while and that damn shark will still not spawn. This is the last one so I can complete the puzzles. Its really frustrating that the shark will not spawn. I'm up to a 2974lb shark record now. : Update: Finally got the bastard!

Sounds like a very strange bug. Perhaps your updater did not properly update or a save file got corrupted. If you need a clean save, check out the #general-faq channel on Discord for files and info on how to use them to jump to any point in the game.

Is it me, or are there a lot of repeated scenes in this update, I'm getting strange sense of Deja Vu. I'm referring to the Scene to open the Kings Chamber, the process and the following requirements are the same. Also Sofia explains that Alia could be her child to Naomi and Janet outside the Mansion, it's all too familiar.

There was an old chest that had a bug in a very specific circumstance. It almost certainly didn't effect most people, but it was patched. I'd say about 50% of the time you can expect small day-1 fixes. But our testing is pretty good, so nothing major.

In the library, there is a book on the floor to read that gives you the hint for finding the next chest key, to unlock the chest in the fountain room.

If you're on pc, click the windows icon and type %localappdata% and then navigate to the User Data folder. That is the right spot.
