Symphony of the Serpent is underway! Chapter 1's beta has just been updated, if you're a GM supporter you can download it now at nlt-media.net.
This new patch completely rewrites the fighting system's code, adds more voice lines, and polishes up a few rough edges. We're still working through some bugs so your feedback is appreciated! There are known issues with lag on older computers and in future version I plan to adjust effects if the average frame rate drops too low. There's still a lot to figure out with optimizing this new engine, but in time, it should be silky smooth.
The Mac version is also now available as well. On the 15th I will open up the beta to Master and Master+ supporters.
Check out the new launcher! We're nearing completion of the new launcher which will control ALL NLT Media games. Being a Patreon member will make it easy to keep everything up to date! We've improved security as well as download speed!

So excited for this! Played all the games so far and loved them all! ToN is still my favourite but that's not to speak badly of TGO, not at all! SotS looks awesome and I can't wait for my tier to sample Chapter 1! Keep up the good work!

Depends. Obviously a lot is missing, but it made me exited about seeing more ☺️ you might end up having to replay with the official release, but I don't know. And it also doesn't take long. If you want to play the final version, just wait a couple weeks, if you don't want to wait just go for it ☺️

I have some stuff to fix for .00074. I'll add some more instruction to the fight. The artifact only shows after you talk to Margaret. I'll add some explanation for that too.

This version is worse then previous. In 72 I got stuck on scrapyard because character stuck in the beginning of the fight after he found artifact. Here the artifact is not triggered. Combat rules are messy and not explained at all

Finished the new beta. I experienced no bugs myself. The fighting is a lot easier now, and ive noticed some graphical changes too. None of the fight scenes posed any trouble with bugs or anything. Great work!
