When you hear CEOs and executives speak it makes it even more glaringly obvious that they're parasites who don't actually contribute to anything because all they can say are generic platitudes that a toddler would know like "we need to sell more things" and "we should know who our competitors are." But they say these things as if they're some deep genius logic.

I honestly think these are all just advertisements, like the military and the CIA are trying to market themselves to students and young professionals who watch Masterclass. That's why the hosts focus so much on their image and so little on giving actual lessons

Oh, so this is why Thames Water, a company with a monopoly on selling a human right is in so much debt, not only do they pay massive dividends to share holders and huge salaries to their executives, they're also paying for advice from war criminals! No wonder there's no funding for water infrastructure in the most drought-hit part of the UK. Joseph Bazalgette's sewer system deserves so much better! The way he ties “leadership” lessons from war crimes into corporate culture really shows how normalized militarism is in American capitalism. It’s absurd how openly MasterClass props people like this up as if dehumanization and imperialism are admirable traits. Maybe that’s the real purpose of things like MasterClass - not to teach, but to reinforce and legitimize those power structure. Or, on the other side, provide something for y’all to challenge that normalization - which is the one good outcome I think.
