🕑 Added 2021-02-28 23:51:04 +0000 UTCLast night the father of my kid called me saying that it was laughable that I would not allow him to take our child Who doesn’t know him, up to a mountain to go snowboarding. I want you guys to remember that this is man he would constantly choke me to sleep while I was pregnant to the point where I would wake up covered in my own shit and piss. Along with many many different forms of violence that ended in him breaking a baton over my head broad daylight downtown of my city. Last night he called me threatening me and saying that there was nothing I could do to stop him. The fear I have for this man just can’t really be put into words, but all that aside he is legally not allowed to contact me or he goes to jail for two years. Now I’m faced with the choice of sending the father of my child back to jail for two years. I understand that what he did was his choice and I can’t take responsibility for it, but goddamn does it ever feel like shit 😭

He didn't contact you to say, "hey do you want to go get lunch?" Or just even anything normal, he wasn't only bugging about taking your daughter somewhere, he threatened you by saying you can't stop him, calling this a threat would be a partial stretch, WITHOUT his history, but with, that's a full blown threat. At that stage threats are not always delivered while starting as one and ending as one, it may not even be in one piece in the middle, but they're there, and with this one he didn't even try to hide it
Never ever “feel” “bad” about defending yourself or your daughter. The laws are there fir a reason. DONT let guilt allow you to hesitation
