Kincaid Build 2025.09 Hotfix

This build is a pure bugfix for the last update finally expunging some really stubborn bugs, hopefully freeing all players that are currently stuck. It’s also in preparation for the next update that we are working on to get done.

Getting Stuck in the Tunnels
If you have found yourself in this room and have seen waaaay too much of it… it’s finally fixed!!! >w<
I still can’t believe I didn’t catch this during playtesting! I want to say I got distracted by the tiger pouncing on you in that room, but the truth is I simply didn’t expect the bug turning up as a result of a completely unrelated change and I skipped playing this stretch of the level again.
I’m gonna make sure to stick my nose into each and every room next time! =w=;
A Matter of Control

The second-most reported issue was with the inputs of the game: Rebinding directions! As I mentioned earlier, we updated the underlying foundation that handles inputs. We knew that the rebinding feature would need a closer look, but didn’t expect some secondary side-effects of the update: Some cues simply didn’t lead to any button anymore, no matter what the prompts suggested, or to the completely wrong ones.
There were also some unexpected bugs around controllers that none of our gamepads led us reproduce at all. Luckily while we were on vacation the input library we're using got some bugfixes and updating the version again fixed those problems.
You should now be able to rebind your directions again and all the buttons should again activate their desired action!
We hope you have a lot of fun breezing through (and leaving behind) the cisterns as originally intended!! <3

Player gets hardlocked in cistern arena
Player sometimes gets hardlocked in pump-room fights
Kobold Threesome Animation can’t be trigggered
Player unable to use some rifts (cisterns, goat test area)
Unable to rebind Input for directions (up, left, right, down)
Threesome prompt remaining after exiting animation
Bat briefly disappearing during Bat Animation
Tenby completely disappearing during conversations
Stealth section sometimes causing a crash
Crashes when equipping charms during boss fights
Using fast travel spots sometimes caused the game to crash
Jumping/punching/shooting when leaving menus caused by input carrying over to gameplay mode from UI mode.

Just start the game yesterday, and explored the entire map~ But... Still have no idea how to unlock the animation between the Goat and Cat Tongue Experience......

THIS sounds like a bug tho! Can you tell me which CG didnt work for you and if it was in the game or the gallery?

Thats not a bug ^^ The change to the system how encounters are initiated has been around for a while. You now walk up to the guys and interact with them when no enemy is around!

also when exiting a CG the game breaks as i couldn't click anything else

i noticed that you no longer get stunned after a few hits, is that a bug or something? or was it removed?

I know this have nothing to do with this build but for some odd reason I can't join the discord as it gives me a blank screen when I do "Open in App" and it goes to the app but as I said it gives me a blank screen.

Me too! Bunny was so stressed with fixing bugs that he asked me to withholding until he was done!
