BUILT!!! But Not yet Turned-On! ^^

For the first time in weeks I've been able to take a proper breath... So throughtout last night after watching another 'How to build a PC' Video, I was too excited to wait until the following morning, so I began building... :D
For clarification, I have NOT yet turned My New PC on.
I'm backing up the last few remaining files from my previous PC. And to be perfectly honest, I'm genuinely scared to know if it works or not... :-s If it does Wonderful, but if it doesn't.. Ermmm... I'm Scared!!! :-S:-O:-S
Assuming I have no issues with the System Bios (And that it actually turns on), then I think I've settled on trying the Linux, 'Zorin Operating System'... If I cannot get to grips with Linux, then I will have to shamefully return to Windows 10, with my tail between my legs.
Regardless, building this PC has been a fun (if somewhat of a very stressful) experience. ^^
A Couple of you have asked, so listed below are the components I've chosen for this, my First PC build...

- The Ryzen CPU is an AMD 7 2700x & I'm using the Included Wraith Cooling Fan.
- 256GB SSD Hard-Drive (for my Operating System and Main Programs)
- 1TB, 3.5 Standard Hard-Drive. (For General File Storage)
- 32 GB Ram DDR4 3600mhz (I currently have 16GB in the PC and another matching 16GB arriving any day now).
- AMD X470 Motherboard G-Pro
- Radeon RX570 Strix Graphics Card - 4GB GDDR5
- The Case is a Cooler Master MC500 (I love this case, its made the build so easy)
- Power Supply is a 650W GQ 80 Plus Gold (I knew what these terms meant last week, but I've since forgotten). ^^
- I also have x2 fans arriving shortly as well, as I don't want to have to go through this PC overheating every 9 months, like my previous one. So I plan to fit them above the core blowing inwards I think, OR maybe one blowing-out and one blowing-in.

It's probably way more powerful than it needs to be, since I will only be using this PC for Photoshop and Word-Processor Applications. BUT it will be so nice to be able to work in photoshop on the Comic Pages & Quizzies without any lagging or slowdown as the image layers grow in quantity. At-least I think (& hope) this machine will comfortably be able to handle it. And hopefully this machine will also be future proof for atleast the next 10+ years.
Once its working *Touch-wood* ^^ I can finally resume the Trophy Wife/ Gold-Digger Bimbo Pin-Up and I can honestly say I've never felt so eager to return to just sitting in a quiet room with nothing but actual work-Work, to be done. ^^
... Thank you to Everyone for your continued Patience with everything which has been happening over these past 2-3 weeks. All the hecticness has finally coming to a close. *Sigh of Relief* ^^

No gaming means that it should last a while. Still a good idea to get a second drive to backup your system incase your primary dies(has happened).

Hopefully the cooler will last a little bit longer than 2-3 years, I've made sure to turn off all the RGB settings, so hopefully that will help some of the interior bits and pieces last a little bit longer. Although no gaming on this PC, its purely for Work (Photoshop) purposes, so hopefully it should last a while. ^^

Well it all depends on when your using your machine for. If gaming then every 2-3 years.

Thank you for the advice STL, although I do think at this point any water-cooling or Power Supply upgrades will have to wait for at least couple-several of years. ^^

Wow, that's quite a system James. :) As for upgrades, I think it may be a while before I decide to upgrade this machine, in fact I'm hoping I wont have to upgrade or do anything to it for at least 5-7 years. ^^

As stated before. If your going to, do it in stages. Power supply first.

If you are adding 2 fans, 650w might not be enough. If you plan on going water cooling, you will definitely need more power. If it's not too late I would exchange the 650w power supply for 1250w.

It looks like it will work bat as I said it's always good to err on the side of caution in case you want to upgrade in the future.

That's pretty much the same reason I've attempted it on this occasion... I realised the Pre-built PC's I was considering were charging £100-£200 over the actual value of what the combined components were worth from a DIY build. Now I really just have to hope I haven't made some massive and stupid mistake during the build making me wish I'd paid that price mark-up. :-s ^^

It may be a wired mess, but I imagine there is something nice about knowing its your wired mess, which you've been able to lovingly and hopefully enjoyably craft together. :)

About two years. I just replace components im my old pc one at a time. Had to cut out part of my case to fit the video card. In the end it looks like a wired mess but it works.

A Sealed system means my clumsiness will just have to reach new heights of clumsy, to inadvertantly somehow give the motherboard a shower. ^^ That's the way I would have also liked to have done it slowly building the PC in stages, leading up to a couple of years from now when it would finally be ready. If you don't mind me asking James, how long did yours take to put together stage-by-stage?

The system i suggested is a sealed system. All you need to do is attach the cpu cooler to the motherboard and the raidiator to the back of the case. I also understand building a systrm on a budget. It's why i upgraded mine in stages.

Thank you for the suggestion James, I think at this point I've maxed out my budget, although I will definitely keep the water cooling suggestion in mind. I'm hopefully over heating wont be an issue, since I have no plans to overclock the cpu (nor do I really know how to). But if it does become an issue, then I will definitely look into a better type of cooler. :) Up until a week or two ago, I never even realised PC water-coolers were a thing. Although knowing how clumsy I can be, I would worry about 'somehow' spilling the 'water' from the cooler all over the PC's interior. ^o^ :-s ^^

Nice build. I suggest you swap out that's standard fan heat sink with water cool unit. Im using an h80i.
