I'm not surprised as the general population would think animal print is too tacky for bridal wear, and odd for a Maid uniform. I do like your idea of using light animal print as sorta an embossed texture to the fabric. My only worry is your heavy hand in colors, but these recent sketches has reassured me that this can work. Personally I would not put too much concern about whether the animal print is noticable if you decide to go "light".

I can totally see a nice light animal print design being used on the design... Although to be honest, I currently find myself quite surprised by just how many Patrons 'Don't Want' Animal Print on the Bridal Maid. ^_^;

Personally I don't see how animal print would be appropriate for a bridal maid theme. But.... This is PrincessVille and inappropriateness and over-the-top fashion is a way of life! So with that being said I voted leopard.🐆
