This is the Video Process for KDW's Patron Contest Winning Image and during this illustration I was very aware of how much I kept telling myself ‘I need to add more bows and bits’, as well as needing to make the Patreon Version look a lot more pink with more than a touch of Jersey-Animal-Print trashiness. ;D
The Dress Silhouette chosen for this look was more of a simplistic shape and as I started drawing the finished look, I became a little worried that I wouldn't be able to make the dress visually interesting (which is why I added the caboose).

There was a point towards the end when I was seriously considering removing the rear caboose layers of the dress, but the upper ‘caboose’ part would have required a great deal of reworking and I couldn’t come up with a work-around which wouldn’t require redrawing that prominent & quite large section of the dress.

The caboose changed the entire look. It basically aged her from bride to mother-of-the-bride. Still lovely work of details. 😘
