A short update on my progress

as the title suggests I will try to keep this one short as I'm still very busy working on 0.5.3.5.
In this past week I've made 5 new animations(+transitions) for Emily in her pregnant state. The work on that was finished on Wednesday around noon. Since then I've been working on the dialogues and implementation of Emily's pregnancy.
This means dialogues about it, interaction in her house and of course making sure all images shown are corrected to her state (updated sprites & dialogue images). I've also added a new visualization for the fertilization for both Emily & Kate.
As you probably can guess this isn't that easy and some interactions have to be disabled while Emily is pregnant (I didn't make new animations for her visiting Frisha at night, visiting Mira, taking a bath, meeting Giron.... and so on) While some of these scenes will get a pregnant version next month for 0.5.4.0, for now I have to try getting it into a somewhat playable state which is then testable.
It's still a LOT to do. I'm missing dialogue and events for the pregnant sex scenes and I'm also missing some images with Emily and the newborn babys which I have to make later today. I also haven't made interaction dialogues with Frisha & Mira who after all have to react to their mothers pregnacny/new siblings.
I will try to get all of this done tonight, but if it isn't possible then I will delay it until early next week. I've been in crunchmode this whole month. Meaning 3 days a week I've worked from 8am to 0am (the other 2 days to 5pm). I'm still highly motivated and I really want to get this update done before the month is over, but if it isn't possible then it isn't. If I've learned one thing then it is that new content always looks like a complete mess until it is completely done.
I know that this being short on time is due to the reworks I did to Emily's old content, but a lot of that was necessary as her code has been really messy and needed fixing.
I will keep you updated here and on discord later today.

Good evening, gotten already late again... I'm almost done with the pregnancy content. Only missing dialogue now is the one with Emily showing off the new born child. Took a bit longer today than I thought 😓 and While writing the sex scene dialogue I decided to add another animation to it to make the transition a bit better. That's why I didn't even begin with the testing yet. So...a few more hours. I will need a bit of sleep soon, but I think this should be done tomorrow morning (hopefully around noon). I've now also fixed a problem that was all the time in the game: Frisha always knew about the relationship with Emily & MC, this can now be avoided (at least until Emily gets pregnant)

Okay, cards on the table. It won't be possible to get this done today. I have just written all the variations of dialogues how Emily reacts to her pregnancy (relationship/married/just fun). Now next will be the variations for Mira & Frisha. After that it will probably be after midnight. The sex events for the new animations are still completely missing and also the complete birth part of course. All in all, I still have a lot done in the last few hours. The toddler now has an extra dialog box in which the player ponders whether it is his child or not and to whom it belongs. All sex scenes with Emily now have an alternative option not to come in her and I have revised the backgrounds in Frisha's scenes with Emily. I'm optimistic that I'll make it on Monday, unless something goes spectacularly wrong.
