Some thoughts
🕑 Added 2018-08-02 19:16:17 +0000 UTC I posted this on twitter but I want to share it with you all.You all know that my patreon is not going too well, but I'm going finish the comic anyway, and later I will judge if I should continue with the 2º part or close my patreon. But suddenly, a disaster happened this morning:
I was having many payment declines. I down from 560$ to 350$ at month. And I though: 'wow, since I have to draw 4 comic pages for my patrons every month, I'll get less than 100 dollar for each comic page'. That situation is gonna broke me.
I though: what I'm doing bad? probably people lost the interest in the comic. I've been too pretentious trying to draw a long comic, with too much character development and many fetiches merged together. The hourglass was a risky movement. Probably the sex scene is boring.
I was planning to say nothing about this. I would draw full week, just to have time to draw more commissions and earn enough money to live. I just want to keep my patreon open at least until the end of What a twist! And suddenly...
And suddenly I see a tweet about Patreon saying that the cause of the payment declines is due a faitule in their payment method. Wow Patreon, really? thanks for being so frustrating, for artists and patrons.
Well, as you know I don't usually write about those things: frustration, problems... but I need to share those thoughts with you all. Also big thanks to my patrons and commissioners. You can't imagine how happy you make me feel. Thanks to you my job is my passion.

HI frost! I've been thinking a lot and I've decided to keep my patreon open. And this is thanks to your comments and support. Thanks! from now I'll draw 1 comic strip and 2 What a twist! comic pages (instead of 3) and I'll draw many sketches. I'll finish What a twist! soon and I'll continue with my next comic project. I'll wait a bit to draw What a twist! 2 Probably I'll draw that comic when my patreon works better. Thanks for your words

Never got a chance to join your patreon. But had i come sooner id have been on board from the beginning. Havent had a chance to join yet for reasons, but i plan on it once things are more stable. Owo. Im sorry to hear that so much has happened. It really is a shame. I only hope things will get better. The comic is beautiful. And for 4 pages a month. Im surprised at how well its gone. Personally id say keep the page going. There are so many supporters who still enjoy your work and are willing to help when they can. If you cant keep the patreon going however for your reasons aforementioned. Thats understandable as well. It just feels sad seeing your work go like that. But try not to lose heart. Im sure itll get better. If theres any way to help, we will do what we can.

oh, thanks god you solved the problem. The sad part is that Patreon should help the users with those situations. But no, they only pay attention in suspend accounts.

Thank you for all the effort that you put into it! My 'subscription' was one of the ones declined as potential fraud, but I have an 'alert' on my account, so I was notified and was able to respond in 7 hours. According to the bank, it has gone through. I hope it has! You deserve every penny!

I'm having problem with patreon payments since 2-3 months ago. I use paypal as payment method and every month it is declined, at first i tried to contact patreon and nothing was solved, so i discovered that all i had to do is delete my paypal as payment method and re-enter the same paypal as new method and i don't know why but it works like a charm! Lol

agreed. payment on patreon should be a paypal only thing to prevent this kind of occurrences.
