Photo & Journal Updates!
🕑 Added 2021-09-29 06:53:42 +0000 UTCOkay... quite a few updates including fixes, improvements, AND added translations. Everything is detailed below and overexplained per usual. ;) Download links are at the end of this post and the links in the original post still work as well.
Photographic Memory 2.0.1
Additions & Fixes:
- Added Spanish translation (thank you Laura!)
- Fixed halo effect on photo print tape (shown here)
- Fixed a rare bug that would get you stuck in the Photo Studio UI - this fix will now make the Photo Studio unavailable if you don't have any photos/canvases in the world or your sim inventory
- 'Rotate Photo' added to the 'Customize Print' menu.
- Most of the time, my tests should auto resize the photos correctly to maintain the correct aspect ratio on portrait/landscape photos. But in case it doesn't, you can use this to change it manually
- Original Photo Print Updates
- New photo prints were added with the 2.0 version
- The original ones were not updated because they are set up *very* different than the new ones and I didn't want to risk changing them and deleting all your previously made photos
- The old prints are now available to place in BB mode (the thumbnail says 'Original Photo Print')
- When placed in the world, they will show up black - add a photo by clicking on the print and choosing 'Change Photo' or by transferring through the photo studio
- Added improved photo description/naming, ability to add moodlets and sim
- Photo studio can now be accessed through the old prints
- The old prints do not have the same resizing feature as the new ones
A Few Notes:
- You can always add moodlets to photos, but you will not be able to reminisce unless you have the Ink For Yourself Journal installed
- When photo prints/canvases/cross stitch items are first created through the Photo Studio they will show up blank in your inventory. They aren't really blank - the game just takes a minute to register the change.
- All of the photo prints/canvases (including polaroids and calendar) can be found by searching 'photographic'
- To add photos to the journals just drag and drop the photos into the journal in live mode!

Ink For Yourself Journal 1.0.1
- Added Spanish translation (thank you Simlish 4!)
- Added Brazilian Portuguese translation (thank you Nathan Simss!)
- You can now drag, drop, & reorganize/sort journal entries in the journal inventory. By default they will show up in the inventory based on time they were created.
- Removed the ability to hide journals in beds
- The way the hiding interaction is set up, it would have deleted the journal if you did this and there is no way to recover it. I am SO SO sorry about this!

- You can now set the entry/journal author to any sim that your active sim has met (instead of family members only)

Please make sure to delete the original package files and replace with these!
If any of the of UI/interactions on the photo mod are showing up blank it is likely because you still have the original Photographic Memory still.

do you have the PBJ mod? my guess is you do. you need to delete that or update to her new one. the original had an error which causes this to happen. the links for her old and new mod can be found here: https://ravasheen.com/download/photographic-memory-2-0/

Does the MOD by chance not work in old saves? No matter what I do. None of the photos I take register as being able to edit in the photo studio.

I can't find any photos to actually add to the inventory. . . When I use a camera it just turns into a screenshot and I can't put it into inventory.

Nevermind! I solved my issue. The mod was too many files deep even though it's not a "script!"

yes sorry i just answered your other comment!! all you need to do is drag and drop into the journal in live mode :)

hi there! do i just drag photos into the journal inventory? or how do i add my photos to it? (i have a big wedding coming up, lol, and would love to add their wedding pix to the journal)
