If I can make a suggestion? Put a piece of your bf's clothing (that smells like him) out either where you think the dog was last, or near bf's house, and maybe a bowl of water (not food, as it'll attract other animals). I haven't had to try this myself, but I've heard several people had it work for them. I hope you find him!
