Mbessa is the villain. Truly. As soon as she arrived, she has been making the situation worse. Not for her daughter, but for herself and Nox. She has already shown that she is feeding tensions on both sides. She wants that war and is making certain it happens. Without her influence and actions a path to peace would be far easier. Yes Jinx shot a rocket into the council room, but peace talks were still possible even after that. The follow up attacks orchestrated by Mbessa are what seeded hate deep into Topside. She also killed the only one who knew the truth (chainsaw lady). After she positioned herself as a hero and nominated Kaitlyn as General, revenge was truly possible. Now that's anyone on either side can see. Everyone is blinded by rage and pain now, and it's all for her benefit. She's making victims out of everyone.
