Ok? Great. Keen observers will note this isn't even close to what Abra looks like, but it has a few similar features. Only so much I can do with AI (which always sounds like I'm playing with myself, and I will think that is funny forever). I'll throw a few other failed attempts on later.
Aside from new girl, not much else on the story front. However, the next chapter...oh baby, that has one of the coolest scenes I've ever written. Chills. That is, if I can get it past my betas. Apparently, my writing has gotten worse, with no less than thirty times where they caught me on a wrong usage of its or it's. I can't help it! I'm a terrible writer! I've been writing for decades, I have a Masters Degree, I've worked professionally in publishing houses!
I did have fun with a little insert I slipped in there. Should thank a certain doctor and a Nederlander lesbian for the joke.
Levity aside, got absolutely nothing done this month. Well, except for a few covers. Haven't had time. BARELY squeezing these in because I really needed to. Why? Money. Last two months, been tighter than most. Not quite eviction tight, but really close. Won't go into details, but a few things happened. Last month I saw it coming, but I didn't think it would get as bad as it has. I got desperate, reached out to my old journalism employer and begged for work. Yeah, the company that laid me off. I don't have the capacity to do this much work anymore, and it might cost me. Don't have a choice, but that is my problems, so I'll leave it there.
Apparently, I have a creative gift. Which I thought I had something going, but no less than 3 authors this month on various channels I discord on, took one look at a comment I make - anyone who follows my antics, I have no problems just throwing ideas into tiny micro fictions because it is fun - then blasts me with DMs asking if they can use it for a book. Which stokes my ego to no end, when that happens. It is so cool. Wish I could make money off my ideas, but also don't want to seem like some kind of idea tightwad. I got my own projects, happy when others can use my stuff for their own. Maybe if someone makes millions of dollars off an idea I hand out for free, it would be nice to get a little something.
Running out of steam. Still gotta throw on the Lit and Scrib releases today.
I want you all to know I love you. I understand my problems and situation mean I am not the most prolific. There was a time I hoped to turn this into some grand empire of fiction that I could live off of, but I've accepted that I have a tiny thing and while it isn't what I wanted it to be, it has become something that warms my heart every day. That y'all care about me, which I never expected. Thank you.

Hope RL settled down better for you Ai. Hmm an A.I. trained on Ai that's a thought. In regards to it/it's. It's not my fault! *Laughs* Everyone has quirks.π I just recently went through a published authors work. The never once used the correct meet/meat. π
