Seems you'd want a team based primarily around Ground, Rock, or Water to deal with the four that have Fire type aspects, with a secondary of Bug or Fairy to handle the Dark/Psychic in order to stack the odds in your favor against that sort of team. Specifics depending on the exact moveset of those, of course.

just means playing the types right, although last I played a pokemon game was Y, and I had a really strong Gardevoir by the end of that

Yup, would be quite a challenge in story mode, considering the fact that Hoopa-Unbound and Victini are legendaries. Watch out for V-Create and Hyperspace Fury!^^

if I'm seeing right, its Flannery, Clair and Sabrina... hmm, pretty strong team, so need rock, fairy and water types, or just somehow need to do a fusion myself with two other attractive gym leaders
