Doesn't seem like that is an standard bikini for this kind of competition. Maybe it is a Tamaranean thing? Either way, the audience is in for a show once this beauty comes out to the stage.

She’s a member of the X-Men and a longtime member of one of their spin-off teams in X-Factor. She’s the other daughter of Magneto and has similar powers, and is notable visually for her green hair (as well as green costume). (She’s also the on-again-off-again of Cyclops’s brother, Havok.)

Yeah, the suit also drew criticism but I'm a sucker for sexy, impractical outfits so I didn't mind it.

If only the character writing was a bit better in that opening arc. Starfire’s got a lot of mixed reception back then. (Then again, the New 52 was pretty divisive in quality.)
