WiP - Titania (part 2)
🕑 Added 2024-09-11 02:47:27 +0000 UTCEdit: As always, here's the fully colored version for comparison. Thanks for your support!
At last, after what felt like months (actually days...) here are the 3 versions of the amazing Mary MacPherran, aka Titania! Being the second villain for this competition, it was actually pretty fun to draw her since I could make her with some deranged expressions based on Dan Slott's 2004 comic.
Production notes:
Speaking of which, I used Paul Pelletier's artstyle from the 2004 comic where Mary gets the Power Stone and goes all crazy on the Marvel Heroes. There were a lot of images to use as reference and the artstyle is very good and detailed. I also remember this comics because She-Hulk gets an impressive physique after fighting the Champion of the Universe.
Titania's original costume is very... revealing, what with the enourmous cleavage it has. I couldn't use that for a competition bikini, but I added a little reference in the little spikes of her top and some spiked bracers which also are a reference as well. I also colored her in her trademark dark purple.
For the poses, I used pictures of the incredible Pamela Canfield. She has an impressive physique, which remided me of Titania's figure from the aforementioned comic. Her other... assets, are also superheroine worthy!
Backstage, Mary seems to be glaring at She-Hulk (I mean, who else), which makes me wonder what could She-Hulk be doing. A good thing about having more and more contestants will be seeing how the interacted before the big event.
As always, let me know your thoughts on this in the comments!

I'm barely familiar with her, but the design and color of her suit looks perfect for her.

If anything, I wish she’d debuted in either The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes or The Spectacular Spider-Man—or heck, as early as the 1996 Incredible Hulk cartoon.

Titania might be thinking this is a good opportunity to beat Shulkie, so she is reigning in her worst traits, it seems. I had completely forgotten about that cartoon, which I don't consider a bad thing at all.

Thankfully she doesn't look too deranged here, otherwise we should worry! That aside, you've done a titanically terrific take on my second-favorite Marvel villain. (It's only a shame that her animation debut had to be in..."Hulk and the Agents of SMASH"...)
