WiP - Knockout (part 2)
🕑 Added 2024-11-11 19:02:25 +0000 UTCEdit: As always, here's the fully colored version for comparison. Thanks for your support!
Sorry for the long wait, but I've been having a bit of a slump and didn't feel motivated enough to finish this drawing. As always, thanks for your patience and consideration.
With that out of the way, Knockout is finally here! Straight from Apokolips, one of the most powerful and fearsom Female Furies will be participating in this muscle competition!
Production notes:
The artist I used fo reference is Jim Calafiore, specifically from Superboy's comic from 1994. I was also considering Tom Grummet's work from the same comic book, but I did liked how stylized Calafiore's version looked.
As was the case for She-Hulk, nothing really outstaing to say about her bikini, but I used her costumes colors, and I can say for sure that they really fit her. Also, we have not had a green bikini yet, so she will definitely stand out.
I used pictures from the aboslutely gorgeous Leyvina Barros for Kay's poses. Another excellent Brazillian bodybuilder, who also has... assets worthy of a comic book superheroine.
As for the backstage version, it seems like Kay will be the least concerned about being forced to compete with a few dozen scantly clad muscular superheroines and villaines if her expression is anything to go by.
As always, let me know your thoughts on this in the comments!

Besides, that definitely fits more with an episode of TTG. Or an Ambush Bug comic.

I thought Darkseid sponsoring Kay for some ridiculous Anti-Life equation-related reason to be funny until I realized it could be the plot of an episode of Teen Titans Go! Guess it's better if we stick with your explanation

Or maybe she found an Earth-made brand with a similar symbol.

The real question is: did Darkseid burn his symbol on the swetpants? Or does Apokolips has a licensed line of sportswear?
Aron Orson
I’m sure the typo can be addressed. Otherwise, no big. Nice touch with the Omega symbol on her sweatpants—shows how, even when you’re so far away from a place like Apokolips, Darkseid still has a bit of influence on you.

You're right, I forgot to mention it was for DC's side

Didn’t Polaris sport a green two-piece?
