I was going to say that anyone who has a normal name in the show you can assume is a dim witted celebrity tricked into talking nonsense. But Ceasar The Geezer was also a real person. A talk radio dJ and as you could tell, was intellectually sub-optimal.

The genius of Chris Morris (and Peter Baynham) is that they exposed a) how the mainstream media not only report the news, but seek influence on how to think about it, b) just how little celebrities really care enough to research what they say to the public, if there is a payment in it for them, and c) just how persuasive someone speaking with a posh English accent can be, even if they are talking complete rubbish. 30 years ahead of itβs time.

I think this is perhaps the least good episode of Brass Eye. It's still funny, it just loses its way a bit at the end. The next two are very good though, and it means we edge closer and closer to Paedogeddon.

The only one that doesn't work as a joke now is the vertical farms: these do actually exist! One of the biggest in the world is in the south of England and is the equivalent of 100 tennis courts stacked on top of each other! Everything else is just nuts. Celebs will endorse anything as long as a camera is on them.
