Not bad ep, I hadn't seen before. (I'm a s1 to s7 guy) The waitress actress (Amrita Acharia) also was in early Game of Thrones eps as a character called Irri (recurring role, 13 episodes), she was Daenerys' handmaiden.

Whilst the series is still funny, the seasons where Rob Grant left and it began to be exclusively written by Doug Naylor are more obvious for their lack of consistency; the joke comes before the sci-fi, when it was in perfect balance beforehand. This situation is a perfect example of that, as are things like talking to the universe, criticism of modern day American foreign policy, etc. It's more a straightforward sitcom now rather than the niche it filled beforehand. Like I said I still find it fun, but if series 8-12 had come before 1-7, I don't think it would have been renewed after a series or two (and I'll defend season 8 to the hilt).
