Well good on him for going with it and turning a negative into a positive. As you recount that story I'm reminded of Rhodri Giggs, brother of Ryan Giggs, who found out his wife had been cheating on him with Ryan for 8 years. Instead of being bitter about it, he did a hilarious Paddy Power advert making fun of it that made him loads of money and rinsed Ryan. Good on him!

I remember this. It was more than this show, it was connected to stuff happening outside and I remember being so surprised by how game Les was. Basically he had just had a very public divorce from Amanda Holden (who they thought he was too old for). It just came out that she was cheating on him before he did one of the early big brothers, before the editing went too far. For the next week or so all we saw was him mentally and emotionally crumble. It was a car crash. He disappeared for a bit and I think we all just assumed the next time he’d be talked about was a suicide obituary. But then he did this! It was genius! I wouldn’t say it recovered his career completely but it stopped his name being linked to mental illness.
