Yes. The text is in the perspective of Gabby, so if Gabby can't see, she can't talk about what's going on around her. The pictures are in the perspective of an invisible cameraman that follows Gabby everywhere :)

Yes. Initially, I intended to include more scenes with sensory deprivation for Gabby. The issue is that Gabby is the narrator, and while deprived she can talk about her thoughts, but she can't narrate what's happening. In any case, there will still be more scenes with sensory deprivation, also for other characters.
