Patricia exposing Emma to bondage while she was younger would've normalized it for the girl, so, of course, she would believe there's nothing wrong with it being public. Not seeing any negative consequences from what her mother did in the past, it would be hard for Emma to comprehend the caution her mother actually holds. With Emma's desire of having a mansion filled of slaves/servants to meet her every need, it's only natural for her to believe bondage is fine. lol
