I find it deeply concerning that we have an unelected official, who has access to citizen's data, the means to abuse that data for personal gain, and is now scaring reddit into restricting speech. I agree with the TOS that language should not incite violence, but with the recent banning of a bunch of subs due to "no moderation," this feels like a set up to control the narrative of the current regime. I was scrolling facebook the other day, and saw a "true story" about how Musk kindly offered to help a batista and buy their kids a birthday present. This was so obviously propaganda, and for once the comments on fb were actually recognizing it, but plenty were praising Musk for his "kind" actions. This is scary.
