The One Above The Heavens Chapter 2
🕑 Added 2024-01-12 07:24:37 +0000 UTCI had spent... Probably a decade's worth of money from a normal family as I went on a spending spree to collect as much materials and machines as possible to make a Workshop and place I could do my Taoism arts.
After plugging up all the holes in the Worm Pit in which Sakura had been thrown into there I had realized the amount of lives wasted, the lives ruined, and the complete suffering within the Worm Pit had made it a perfect Yin Furnace to which to help forge items. And with that theme I dug another pit this time with a Yang theme and to make it match the Yin Forge in potency the walls of the forge were made out of lava rocks with an even coating of enchanted obsidian.
Finally as the Yin Forge was powered by human suffering of which I could easily gather with how I lived inside a massive city so I only needed a few arrays to gather the emotional energy released from humans, and for the Yang Forge I powered and fed some of my blood to it, along with feeding it's hungry flames literal truck loads of coal every few minutes.
And Medusa certainly had fun using a pickup with her Rider skill to avoid the Fuyuki police as she sped around the city to collect the coal and stuff I needed as quickly as possible and somehow managed to completely avoid the police when returning with the materials.
But in the end I used both the Yin and Yang forges together to create my Imperial Seal which my combat Authority would control and be used at it's best efficiency but along with that. I also enhanced my flying sword along with creating enchanted wires that reinforced my imperial robe while not messing with the comfort level.
So... I had used literally millions of Yen in mundane materials in quickly building my workshop and creating and reinforcing the things I already made. But it was all worth it as I woke up the next day with a deep feeling of unease in my gut.
"Will you be coming to school with me again?" Sakura asked with some concern and I nodded as I didn't want to stick around here in the mansion but in reality I had other plans.
"I will be in Fuyuki don't worry. I just got some stuff to take care of as I need to peek in on the Grail." I finished as I gave Sakura good pat on the head before I headed out with the purple haired beauty giving me a slight pout at simple head pat I gave her.
Using a couple Taoist charms I first made myself invisible and then with another charm I rose up in the air and I flew off towards the Fuyuki Temple atop Mt Enzou which was on the outskirts of the city.
'Now... Do I fuck with the Grail directly or do I find some other way to interact with it?' I thought as although my taoism trinity granted knowledge gave me a great deal of knowledge. The Holy Grail was all but it's own divine system that could change the very world...
Just smashing my seal into it, could make it explode like when Artoria blasted it with Excalibur.
But as I was looking around I felt a pulse of mana in the distance and I looked over and saw plumes of smoke escaping into the air a good couple dozen miles away from the temple making me wonder what had happened. 'Did someone hearing my order to stop the Grail War try to actually fuck with the Grail?' I thought with a frown as the vicinity of the magical effect was too close to the grail for my liking so with a thought I quickly blasted off in that direction towards the smoke.
Within a couple of minutes, I had flown over and I had found some kind of advanced base of operations along with a couple dozen bodies including several magical materials that I quickly threw into my space bag that I created last night to hold my imperial seal and sword. And knowing no one was here I quickly flew back out of the abandonded base and then I held out a hand as I chanted.
"Souls of the departed. Those that still remain. Show thy guilty form to my gaze!" I chanted and a blue mist of the angry spirits of the departed pointed towards a direction letting me know there was a survivor. Or the peoples killer who went in that direction.
The direction of the Fuyuki Temple actually.
I quickly flew over in that direction and I finally found my target. A woman in a purple... 'Oh fuck that's Medea and that was her master that she killed for being an evil shithead.' I thought groaning before saying "Fuck it! Let's see if I can pick up another broken bird."
And then I flew around Medea as she staggered with each step, slowly but surely making her way towards the temple with her spite for death pushing her every weakening step.
I gently landed a bit in front of her with my invisibility charm shattering unveiling my presence to the world but she still didn't recognize me so I watched with silent amusement as she staggered forward with her cowl covered face blocking her vision of me in front of her. Until she finally just literally walked into me with her making a soft grunting noise as my hands went around her back to prevent her from collapsing into the ground.
"Hmm and what have I found here?" I mused aloud as my mana filled the surroundings and although Medea hungrily drank of the mana filling the air to give herself life. There was no hiding the shock and fear feeling what amounted to being a god appearing in front of her as no mortal mage could output such magic without a grand ritual and generations of preparation.
Medea slowly looked up to me with me using a finger to knock back her long hood so I could take in her elfish appearance of light blue or lighter purple hair that contrasted with her deeper purple eyes and a pair of adorable pointed ears.
"The new Campione..." She whispered and I gave her a look before making an 'Ahh' noise.
"So your master decided to do something very stupid hearing I called the Grail War off right?" I asked with a wry smile and for a long moment Medea was silent but she then retorted blankly.
"Indeed." And then she with zero emotion asked me frankly. "Are you going to kill or humiliate me oh Devil King?"
And it was my turn to give her a long look before I retorted even more fucking flatly. "No. I am not a Greek Hero who believes in the power of non-consent... Now Medea of Colchis I am willing to offer you a contract so you can continue to live in this modern world but I need your help with a couple things that do not require you to fight."
I flared out more mana to help her stand on her two feet and although it was clear Medea had literally zero trust in me. She could tell I didn't consider her a threat and that was just perfect for her but I was also willing to give her the energy to stand up properly to face me as somewhat of an equal.
"I need your help as a dear friend of mine has a corrupted portion of the Grail inside her womb which I want extracted. And likewise I will need your help in knowing divine magics to interact with the Grail as it is broken and infested with a Evil God that wants to destroy the world." I finished my demands.
Medea actually sagged slightly hearing my demands before she perked up as a thought came to her mind and she spoke with obvious care. "Then... For the help I provide, and should I accomplish these tasks, then I want you to help me gain a mortal body so I can be incarnated as a living person again!"
In response I held out my hand towards her as I spoke in commanding tone. "Then I, the Jade Emperor Yuhuang Yudi welcome you to my court as my mage." And as her hands grasped mine I felt the contract form between us and she couldn't help a small moan as her body was utterly flooded with divine top tier mana that no Servant could hope to receive from their masters.

Wow ok real comment here lmao. But yes Bazet and Cu are still running around. And Baz is slightly shitting her pants at hearing a Campione is squatting in the city and has said fuck the grail war. And yes Medea is the best waifu as her literal desire from the grail is just to be a loving housewife. And yes Ilya is with best boy Herc Though... Tohsaka and Shirou hasn't summoned their own servant yet kek

It just hit me that Bazet and Cu should still be in the City, an since it seems that Jake is building a retinue what better to have as a captain of the Guard then the Hound of Ulster and his very powerful enforcer Master that also happens to have an Age of God's Divine Weapon an is blessed by said godly weapons owner an is an expert Rune Mage (by modern day standards Obviously Cu has things to teach her). I can't see the Red head Irish woman that Punches her enemies to death an the Battle loving Celt Cu would likely say no to being in a Campione service. Getting Medea is always a Great option Canonically one of the greatest Mages to have ever lived (sadly disqualified from Grand Caster because of lacking a Precognition ability), the only Goals she has in the modern day is to just live a good life as a Wife , continue her pursuit of Magic, an i believe Fashion. Someone who has simple wants an desires that someone like Jake can easily give. Huh with Jake being given the Knowledge of Divine Eastern Magic what could him and Medea create with her mastery of Divine Western Magics combined. Good thing that Medea is also a Princess with knowledge how a Royal court should work an would likely be useful to making the Court an she has knowledge of Divine beings which should help especially with Fallen Loli Athena up an around in Japan and also a certain Persian/ Greek War God coming to Japan Medusa would likely be helpful as well. Oh God illya still has everyone Angry and Loveable Berzerker an she still has business with Shirou which can likely get us our Loveable Baber summoned. Oh God it hit me that there are 2 Greek DemiGods of Immense power (one is Fuck Muthering Hercules Though thankfully in his worst class please don'thave this AU have made Her Summon him as Archer), 1 Fallen Greek Goddess, 1 Persian/Greek War God, 1 New Campione, 1 God of Evil in a Cup, 1) 2/3 God King with "ALL THE NP'S" an an intense dislike of the Gods (that aren't his Mother), an possibly the Quintessential SABERFACE with Avalon near by, an 1 of Jake's newest Siblings the One that SWORDED so hard he out sworded a GOD of Swords in 1v1 combat All of this in 1 City Oh Shit this is not going to go well or at the very least it is going to be great for a certain revived Celt warrior an Jake's new instincts. I can't wait

Dear Author-san, How come there is a massive difference in the Word Count between Chapter 1 and Chapter 2? Chapter 1 Word Count: 9528 Chapter 2 Word Count: 1449 Chapter 1 is 6.5 times longer than Chapter 2. What Word Count will Chapter 3 onwards be? Thanks.
