And the best part was just the building wait of tension as those dumbasses walked face first into the wall as you watched in slow motion as they did so.
Because these dumbasses for one ran off 1-1/2 year-10 year cycles of harvest depending on it being basic rice or the more valuable Treasure Rice which had a good deal of spiritual and blood energy for cultivators and martial artists alike.
They seemingly literally forgot that I was outputting entire pills from growing herbs, and treasures based on their required biomes, and then putting them in a pressurized chamber filled with radioactive spiritual energy in which I could precisely control the treasure and herbs mutation into its perfect form.
All of that done from tier one to tier four pills for literal demi-gods all done automatically and with no input or maintenance needed besides some shmuck taking the pills out of their bins once they were completed.
That whole process takes literally only a single week from herb and treasure to pill...
Without needing to make the much more complicated automatic furnaces to create the pills from thousands of different herbs and treasures and being solely devoted to making low-grade Treasure Rice that just needs to be harvested and dried?
I was honestly... Honestly feeling kinda insulted at such a fucking simple task. Sure the size of the order in basically feeding everyone in Inazuma was in theory daunting. But I still had my Satisfactory build gun that was now hooked up to my spatial rings.
I could literally build in-mass pre-recorded structures I had already built so long as I had the materials within my spatial rings... And I had fifteen high-grade spatial rings given to me directly from Ningguang with them made by Cloud Retainer a literal goddess. Space wasn't an issue.
So I was just honestly holding in giggles of amusement at the thought of finishing this shit within days if not a couple weeks at most. When those fools obviously expected this to take years most likely!
"Jake... You got that evil look when you come up with something that will make a god want to strangle you for overturning their view on reality." Keqing said in a deadpan.
To which I dramatically raised a finger before my lips twitched and I said with a wry smile. "It's my fault the gods can't read my shorthand... Anyway, how is being a Martial Saint?" I asked her softly as I picked up my prickly Keqing who huffed at my manhandling.
Pulling the purple-haired beauty into my lap I felt her relax against me before she spoke quietly. "It's like looking at the world in a completely different way... I can't help but think this is almost how you look at the world, but then I realized we look at the world in completely different directions."
I wrapped my arms around the waist of my wife and I then kissed the back of her neck and I whispered softly. "And you feel... Fine? There aren't any issues with your martial arts foundation?"
And I felt Keqing's smaller but firm hands softly hold my arms that were around her waist before she chuckled and said softly. "Your vital yang from your virginity has given me more than enough energy to digest and push me over the edge into a Martial Saint. I just need to refine the blood energy over time."
My lips twitched as I realized my reincarnation also for some reason made me a 'virgin' which was weird. But hey my V-card literally made my wife into a demi-god so there was no way in hell I was going to complain.
Then Keqing stiffened before she sniffed and carefully pulled my arms away as she said dryly. "The kitsune are coming."
And as much as I wanted to pamper my wife I knew she wanted to keep a proud appearance despite us being technically prisoners of a sort.
So I sat down next to Keqing with our hands merely holding one another as we waited for the kitsune to approach us.
A soft knock rang out at the door and I heard Yae Miko's sarcastic amusement-filled voice speak out. "Are the love birds decent? Or do you both need some more time to celebrate your honeymoon?"
Keqing flicked out a finger with her blood energy making the door slide open no different from how a cultivator would use their qi to perform much more advanced magical spells.
Which showed just Yae Miko standing there at the entrance making me raise an eyebrow as Keqing stated with amusement. "Oh is miss Kitsune Saiguu too bored to speak with us?"
But Yae Miko just gave a small fake giggle as she retorted. "Ufufu, no she is merely dealing with a little songbird, but anyway... Jake the much more important person in the room, Lady Makoto has already allotted a relatively flat spot where a divine cleared the area of any issues and impacted the ground for easy building."
I raised an eyebrow and I said flatly. "And I wasn't consulted on the land? How far is it from the ocean? Because I am going to need access to thousands of gallons of fresh ocean water literally every single second to cycle through the huge factory to keep millions of tons of Treasure Rice well hydrated."
See Treasure Rice was actually... A carnivorous plant of sorts, the reason beyond the spiritual energy it stored allowing it to feed a large amount of blood energy to martial artists was how it would absorb large amounts of bacteria, and the corpses of other life forms that had entered the swampy pools the rice was typically found and cultivated in.
Yae Miko's face pinched and I sighed as though I was dealing with a complete fool as I spoke tiredly. "Did you think I could keep millions of tons of Treasure Rice growing in stagnant pools like they are typically found? Of course not, I need to supply much larger amounts of biomass which the ocean can easily supply."
To that point, I added on. "Oh and also when the factory is made. Any food waste from Inazuma will need to be thrown into the ocean to encourage mass growth of life in the area and to be recycled back into the system."
Kitsune Saiguu's more mature voice rang out as she popped around the corner of our small house's double door and she leaned on the door frame as she spoke. "No need to bully my protege Jake... You didn't specify you needed ocean access either."
To which I raised an eyebrow and retorted cuttingly. "No, you took my building plans and then ran off thinking that was all the information. Not making sure the place needed other amenities nor checking with me for such an obvious thing as a farm needing water."
'Ah... Just wait till they realize I will be building the factory in like a week at most. I can't wait to see their reactions.' I thought as Yae Miko groaned and muttered.
"Ei is going to be irritated she has to clear another lot. This one right bordering on the ocean right?"
To which I nodded and said more kindly. "Correct, if possible have it built near a series of cliffs near deep waters. Or alternatively near a large reef or otherwise huge underwater ecosystem."

TFTC! Reminds me of that one scene from Breaking Bad where a goon observed how Heisenberg cooks and thinks he got the recipe figured out, only to fumble on a simple mistake. Jake now basically established that he is a vital component of the building process, and no amount of blueprint can make them capable of creating his work independently. Maybe this will actually make them consult him directly on the entire reason they kidnapped him. Gotta ask though, how bad would the retribution be after Liyue discover who kidnapped their golden goose>
