Bro finally a Hyuga archer, that was one of the things that always danced around in my brain, how a Hyuga archer would be absolutely insane. Not to mention that if they managed to make their arrows do the same effect that gentle fist has (pushing chakra through whatever it hits), it would be the best long range attack against armored targets

Honestly, while I can see the Clans (not use Hyuga or Uchiha) clamoring to get the teaching position, Jiraiya is probably the best option from a knowledge standpoint. That, and and I can totally see Kushina going: "Jiraiya, take this problem child on a training journey or something." Or some other excuse to get the newest fox far far away from her

I was tempted to choose Kurenai due to Kitsunes using a lot of illusions, but the grimoire makes him an all-rounder, so Jiraiya won out. My primal brain wanted the Hyuga for reasons though. Jiraiya is also another possible lead for Naruko.

Maybe make the Hyuga oc Hinata's mother? Kinda surprised Tenzo/Yamato wasn't an option tbh. Also rather surprised Kushina wasn't an option, I'd think she would be pushing for becoming the leader for Naruko as well as wanting to keep an eye Jake while raising up the next generation of sannin. I'm really looking forward to seeing this one. :)
