But as I mounted up on her horse again with the rest of the knights also getting back onto their horses... Or riding with another knight as they were too mentally fucked after being briefly penetrated by an orc.
I realized that I was beyond being angry. I had transcended my frustration and anger at Artoria for being a difficult cunt. No, I realized and got internal peace. Simply by coming to a realization that I shoudn't be getting emotional about the hentai knights to begin with.
And that realization was a powerful thing, as when her horse walked over the cobblestone paved road leading to Anarchia, I didn't bother to sit crosslegged to keep Artoria away from me.
"Why did you protect my knights? Protect me? I heard that foul sorcerer's such as your self can control monsters such as those orcs. You could have taken me as a secret sex slave and the princess would have been none the wiser when you brought the orc leader's head to her." Artoria asked quietly so her second row of knights behind us coudn't hear.
I didn't get huffy at her words, I didn't get offended. I just answered her words frankly and honestly with the knowledge that she was a hopeless slut knight who wasn't good for anything but taking dick.
"Because Artoria, I can drag you into my room back at the castle and make you choke on my dick whenever I want. I don't need to make you my sex slave when you would complain about it verbally but would happily go alone with it." I said calmly.
There was a pause before Artoria hissed under breath. "I would kill you for the attempt you mangy cur! Even if the princess would punish me!"
And with a soft smile that cross my face, my voice filled with humor as I retorted calmly. "Keep saying the opposite of what you actually mean... I am sure your nipples are hard and your womanhood warms at the thought."
Artoria had no answer as even she had seemingly realized that I wasn't playing her game anymore. But I didn't let her ruminate on the thoughts for too long as I asked quietly.
"How common is a group of orcs that size near the city of Ur? Isn't it odd for a band of that size to be so close to the capital?"
And Artoria just looked back at me in some confusion before she said in blankly. "What do you mean? That was a small tribe of orcs and their typical ilk. They didn't have tamed Pig Tyrants for mounts nor Giant Spider's for the goblins either so it was a small force."
I just stared at Artoria before I said quietly. "Artoria... What is a sizable force of Orc's or monsters you can typically run into on one of these patrols."
She was quiet for a moment before she shrugged and said calmly. "Typically a couple hundred orcs, several hundred goblins and some other wild monsters typically make up a medium sized tribe thats not too deep in the forest. After all monster's breed and grow at great speed."
"How long does it take an orc to fully grow?" I asked curiously as I hid my mounting horror.
Artoria paused at the question before humming and without the previous horny atagonism she was always broadcasting at me, she answered calmly. "Oh? An orc of that tribe boss's size takes about two years from birth to grow into... And goblins go from whelps to adults in three weeks if you were curious."
I was silent at the explanation of the fucking greed tide of monsters she mentioned and then misunderstanding my interest she began listing other monster species and their growth cycles.
Harpies, would lay clutches of dozens of eggs that would all hatch after three months and grow into the humanoid forms in less than a year with a harpy able to happily give birth five times a fucking year.
Demon's and imps depending on their bloodline could breed forcibly with any race and gender... With their 'partner's mana and lifeforce making up the quality of resulting child that would grow as quick as they could be supplied mana.
The list fucking went on... Until she got to Minotaur's which were fairly common and I said flatly. "Alright that's enough. How the hell haven't the kingdoms fallen with so many monsters being around?"
Artoria was quiet for a long moment before she answered quietly. "Monster's typically come down south here, to steal treasure, food, loot, and the races below to breed with. But they are largely forced to remain in the northern wastes due to their reliance on thicker natural mana in the air."
She snorted and said in a hiss. "Foul mana that you yourself use for the evil deeds you no doubt have planned!"
I rolled my eyes and as the sounds of the horse picked up as we began going downhill a bit I asked flatly. "And what evil plan do I have? I have done nothing but protect you and your knights, besides defeating you with my own abilities."
There was a pause as Artoria seemingly had to think about what my 'evil plan' was and as she opened her mouth and said. "You obviously plan to-"
I cut her off making her squeak loudly as I poked her side making her words falter.
"Shush, it was rhetorical." I said with amusment and I coudn't help a grin at seeing her look over her shoulder at me with blame in her eyes.
The ride continued for another five minutes or so with Artoria helpfully muttering under her breath about how I was an evil wizard and going to do terrible things to her and other women while I just ignored her for the most part.
But then I felt my instincts warning me and I took in my surroundings, trying to look through the thick surrounding forest for any monsters, bandits, or the like. But I coudn't see anything.
Until a loud scream broke the sounds of the horses clopping along.
At the abrupt scream I whirled around on the horse only to see one of the hentai knights get ripped off her horse by a fucking massive spider bigger than her own horse that came down from the thick forestry that blocked the view of the sun above our heads.
The spider then began zipping back up the web it used to fall down onto the knight and I realized it had broken it's fall by killing the knight's horse and abruptly the knight's scream was silenced as I saw a small stinger stab her even as I shot off the horse with myself expelling a gust of powerful wind from my feet to throw me up at the spider.
But Artoria then shrieked out. "Steel web spiders! Swords up so they don't fall on us!"
More, more of the horse sized spider's began falling towards the group of hentai knights who began screaming and wildly swiping their great swords around to stop the spiders from landing on them.
The spider I went for, that had snagged a knight shrieked and dropped her as I blasted it and it's web in the tree line with fire.
My lips twitched as I grabbed the falling knight out of the air as the fire quickly spread into the surrounding giant webs that the spiders had made and the brown dull leaves above our heads exploded into a blaze of flames as I came down to the ground and yelled out.
"Move! Get out of here before the horses lose control!" I yelled as I carried the knight in my arms as I flew by having high pressure wind shooting out of my feet and it was mostly just luck that I hadn't crashed yet.
I came down to ground with myself quickly running after the horses as the knight in my arms was a fucking limp doll with how she had clearly been poisoned by whatever that spider had stuck her with.
'If she isn't dead already... But I doubt the spider's would kill their prey so easily.' I thought with some disgust as in this hentai world. I didn't doubt those spiders weren't planning to implant some eggs in the knights or some other horror.
The flames only spread above our heads up to the edges of the large nest with the spiders retreating into the giant tree's hollows or if they fell to the ground they just fled back into the shadows of the surrounding primeval forest as they ran stupidly quick on all those legs.
I soon caught up with the rest of the knights who waited away from the blaze over our heads that was slowing down due to the heathier tree's not catching on fire. And as soon as we got a moment Artoria got off her horse and then ran over to inspect the knight I was carrying with a scowl crossing her face.
As there was a pinkie tip sized hole that had poked through her skin and barely into the muscle of her arm that was leaking some foul smelling green fluid that had also seemingly blocked any bleeding from the wound as well.
"The spider tried to capture her for egg implantation... She is going to be paralyzed for at least a full damned week." Artoria said quietly with distaste.
I conjured up some water that covered up her arm wound and then began cycling the water through the wound making the knight's eye's twitch as pain obviously shot through her as I pulled the venom or whatever out of her.
"Jake stop... Just leave it, the venom will keep her in stasis as its already entered her bloodstream. It will accelerate the healing of her wound and even give her a powerful form of regeneration to deal with the wound." Artoria said as she looked over to another knight who was leading an un occupied horse.
"Altrosa you..." Her expression darkened before she took a deep breath and looked to me. "Jake I need you to hold Castorice so she can't fall off the horse. The other knight's are not in a good state and having three people on one horse is too much."
I just gave Artoria a knowing look with her scowling and saying spitefully. "We are almost to Anarchia! Stow away that foul look, poisoned wisdom and don't argue."
The knight in question despite her perverted armor consisting of only a bra sized chest plate for her small handful breasts was actually fairly appealing with her silver hair... If it wasn't for the purple eyes she was staring at me with that conveyed her pleading for me to help her as she coudn't speak with how her muscles had locked up.
With a couple other knight's help I managed to get mounted up with the knight Castorice being made to sit in front of me with her leaning into my chest as we kept going.
"We are but an hours ride away from Anarchia! We will resupply and have any injured or hurt members relax there as I send a messager pigeon to Princess Prim Fiore!" Artoria called out as I rode towards the back of the convoy now.
Thankfully... Thankfully, Castorice despite being in a hentai outfit and being disabled wasn't a chore for me to handle. Nor did any other issues happen besides us running into a goblin scouting party for a larger group but they just fled away from us into the forest.
The town of Anarchia after three hours of riding finally came into view, and it like the city of Ur was surrounded by a large stone wall with the surrounding thick primeval forests cleared out.
"So that's Anarchia, the town between Ur and the kingdom of Feoh." I mused to myself as I wondered if anything would have changed if I went for the hentai knight princess herself that was the 'queen' of the kingdom of Feoh that was to the north of Ur.
Though now that I think about it. It would be a much smarter plan to wait in Anarchia for the visiting contingent from Feoh as Prim alreadly said her cousin was coming over for a celebration.
We rode up to the walled-in town with Artoria calling out to the guards standing atop the large gate. "Open the gate! Artoria Pendragon, leader of the Knights Roser Order, orders the gate to be opened!"
And I could see the guards atop the gate giving her dirty looks at their drinking and laying about, being interrupted before they began ogling all the flesh being displayed.
"Sure thing ma lady haha!" A fat guard cheered as they worked to pull up the porticullis style gate with loud metal clinks ringing out at as the metal gate rose up.
We rode into the town with Artoria falling back in the line as she shouted out. "Ladies go to Princess Prim's stables for us to leave our horses!"
Then Artoria reached me with her giving Castorice a look in my arms before nodding and saying quietly. "I will help take her off your hands so you can get off your horse. And then you can take her out of my own arms."
I gave a grunt of agreement as after close to four hours of horse riding... My ass was hurting frankly as I didn't have any damned practice with this.
We soon reached a set of stables that had the princesses insigna and then when we did trade off, a couple more knights put Castorice onto a stretcher so she could be more easily carried around.
"Alright so we made it to Anarchia... Now what are we doing?" I asked as I stretched out my legs.
Artoria took a good look at her knights before she took a deep breath and said. "My knights need a couple of days of rest before we can head back to Ur. If anything the best move would be to wait for the Feoh patrol and Princess Alica's own personal knights to arrive before we return in force."
I nodded as that was indeed my own thought process then my lips twitched as Artoria looked back at me and snapped with a flush. "And don't think I have forgotten your previous words! You best find your own inn tonight lest I think you a monster when you invade my room tonight!"
There was a moment of silence... Before I smiled and said with amusement. "Alright that I can do. Try not to think of my arms around you to keep you safe while you and your knights have nightmares about this nightmare of a fucking deployment."
And her face pinched at the thought of trying to get sleep so soon after well... An orc tried to shove a foot plus of meat into her probably virgin holes.
I turned on my heels and made my way through the large walled in town with a hum of thought. Until as I passed by a shop and a woman smashed into me with her yelping in pain and dismay as she dropped a hemp bag filled with cured meat and cheese almost to the ground before I used my powers to stop it from hitting the ground with some conjured wind.
But even as I stopped the large bag of falling down I paused as I realized I had my hands filled with big titty dark elf who was looking at me with a flush as I let her go. "Sorry miss. Here, is your supplies." I spoke as I levitated the food up making her eyes widen as I took it in hand and went to give the heavy bag of food over to her.
"Thank you wizard? Uhm, truly thank you as you saved some of the little money my inn has." She said a bit pitfully but still thankfully and I raised an eyebrow at that.
"Oh truly? I was just looking for an inn and some food after arriving here today. How about I carry that food while you lead me to your inn." I spoke with an easy smile.
She paused and then bit her lower lip before nodding and I took back the heavy bag of food and carried it in both arms as she brought me through the street's of Anarchia that was filling up with rougher men who had just come into the town/city from working out in the fields and forest.
"So whats your name? My name is Jake Bariss, I am a retainer of Princess Prim Fiore." I spoke wanting to get some idea of the first elf I had seen here in this world.
The dark elf was quiet for a moment before she spoke softly. "My name is Grace Campbell, I own the Rowdy Boar Inn and run it with my friend. So uhm." She paused before asking curiously. "How many wizard's does Princess Fiore have in her employ?"
I shook my head and said with a wry smile. "I am the only one apparently. My kind prefer to typically stay out of mortal affairs and be embroiled in their research. I myself prefer a social life and some other things."
Even as I said that... Grace Campbel was a looker to say the least. Her clothing was almost arabic in design if it wasn't for how lewd it was, her lower half was covered in a skirt that went down to her ankles except for the large slit up the middle.
And her stomach was bared while her very large breasts was covered in several layers of carfully managed silk layers that were tied around her neck in a collar that almost looked like a silk slave collar or something.
She gave a slight hum before she gave a small smile and said quietly. "That is impressive I suppose. And why are you here in Anarchia?"
I gave a small shrug and said with a sigh. "I got saddled with leading some hopeless knights on a patrol that went rather poorly with their showing. So I am desperatly hoping your inn has some good food on the menu haha." I joked at the end earning a giggle and an amused eyeroll.
We kept talking about some lighter topics until we reached the inn she owned in the Rowdy Boar Inn that was a fairly modest two story building with the bottom floor being a resturant and the upper floor being the rooms we could rent.
And as we came in... I saw Grace's helper/best friend who was helping her run the inn. "Hello, my name is Jake Bariss, and I got stuck helping your friend carry back her groceries," I spoke with a teasing light to Grace with her looking at me in mock betrayal.
Her friend raised an elegant eyebrow before she huffed and said with a small smile. "Then thank you for helping my friend Jake. My name is Anna Florence, and I help her keep this inn in working order."
Anna Florence herself was a 'normal' elf. With long luscious blond hair and blue eye's she wore a rather stereotypical tavern waitress outfit that was even lewder than usual with her skirt barely going to her thighs and her leg's covered by boots that went up to her thighs instead while still wearing a tight-fitting tavern top that exposed much of her ample cleavage.
I could tell a good bit of a difference in the two ladies as Anna was seemingly rather strong willed as she took the bag of groceries out of my hands while Grace was the more demure sort.
Either way, I refocused on Grace as the owner of the inn and I asked. "So I would like to get a room with a good clean bed and some clean sheets," I spoke as I took in the small list of prices hanging above the bar.
And although my demands weren't exactly listed Grace nodded and said softly. "A private room is twenty coppers each night with dinner included."
I shrugged and pushed five silvers across the table as I had already been paid a hundred and fifty gold coins for this month's retainer fee, and on average a typical peasant like Grace here would only earn a good forty to fifty silver coins at most a year.
"I want a clean room and clean sheet's this is extra payments for a spotless bed." I said firmly as I fucking refused to get bedbugs, flea's or some shit even if I could explode myself in flames to get rid of them.
She just stared at the coins before swallowing and taking them with a bow of the head. "I- I will make sure your bed is clean then. Will you be alright waiting for dinner to be finished in half an hour?"
"Yeah, that's fine." I said with a wave of the hand as I relaxed on the stool I was sitting on that had a nice back to it allowing me to relax and take in the rest of the old-style restaurant/bar as Grace went into the back.
A couple of minutes later, Anna came out of the back with her having a small torch in hand that was on fire with her going around the various lanterns scattered across the restaurant and lit them up so as the sun went down.
The inn/restaurant would have light within it.
"You didn't need to overpay out of pity for Grace." Anna said quietly making me blink at her words.
"Huh? I didn't overpay out of pity and that is rather rude for you to say to a viscount peasant." I snapped at her making her swallow back her words and freeze at my brutal warning for her to watch her tone.
And after a moment I said in a calmer tone. "What did you mean by pity Anna? I literally just arrived here in Anarchia not even an hour ago?"
Anna was quiet for a moment as she ignited the lamp above the bar allowing me to see up her skirt as she stood up on another stool allowing me to see her wearing a thong of all fucking things.
Then she spoke weakly. "I apologize my lord. I didn't realize you were new to the town. Grace is kinda famous within the town for her beauty and the fact that she is a widow."
I raised an eyebrow before shaking my head and said with a sigh. "I understand, but no I paid more than requested so I could get a clean bed and linens. I refuse to have bugs on me as I sleep."
There was a pause before Anna looked down from where she was lighting up a couple more lanterns and I saw up her skirt again as she giggled and said teasingly. "That is such a nobleman thing to do. Are wizards afraid of a bit of a little bit of company in your bed?"
And I waited for her to get down before I winked and said. "Oh no, I prefer my bed company to be more of the substantial sort. Something I can get my hands on and fill them with the softness of a woman."
She clucked her tongue and said with a somewhat pained smile. "Sorry Jake, I am married so you are looking for the wrong place for bed company."
I hummed as I heard that and I could already imagine it in this hentai setting... She was obviously being neglected by her so-called husband and the first man to put the moves on her would earn her undying affection and love.
At least after some good mind breaking sex that may or may not be consensual at first. That was just how things worked here after all.
"Alright alright. Anyway what is for-" My words were cut off as the doors of the inn were literally kicked off their hinged and flew into the store with my eye's sharpening as I saw a large gruff man walk in with two 'smaller' but still eight to nine feet tall orcs behind him with two more human men that looked rough as well behind him.
The leading man gave me a dismissive look before he looked past me towards Anna who had a disgusted expression on her face. "Anna tell that cunt Grace to get out here. She owes me rent for this dump!" He shouted and I saw several possible customer's who had been hanging out on the porch in front of the inn quickly leaving.
Anna swallowed as she looked between me and the man instinctively making me raise an eyebrow as though to say. 'What do you want me to do?'
And she took a steadying breath with her holding her arm while pushing up her breasts with her arm that went under them as she spoke quietly. "Morgan, you don't own this inn... We already paid your protection fees for this week as well."
Morgan the big bastard stomped forward and slammed a metal gauntlet covered fist on the bar making me scowl as he fucking spilled my tea as he loomed over Anna and said in a growl.
"Yeah well. I was rather drunk last night with the boys... I need more drinking money and as far as I know, multiple days passed while I was having fun. So pay up or I will make money off of you and Grace in a much more fun way."
I exhaled and I turned in my stool towards him and said calmly. "Look, Morgan you got two options here. Leave or I beat your ass."
Morgan turned to me slowly with him looking me up and down with amusment crossing his face before he burst into laughter. "Hahaha! You! Kill me with what? You have neither blade nor armor haha!" He laughed cruely as he pulled out a dagger from his side and waved it in front of my face.
"How about I pluck out your eyes with this rusty dagger and while you are screaming. I make Grace or Anna give you a good blowjob before I snap your neck before you cum for making me laugh so much? What say you brother?" He asked honestly considering it.
And I was honestly shocked at his plan to brutally murder me after I told him to fuck off.
So I just looked at him before I blinked and I pointed a fist at his chest with my hand turning to lightning that shot a powerful laser of compressed plasma through his chest in the shape of my fist that blasted out of his back and went out a couple of meters.
"I am a Viscount you wretch. You-" I stopped speaking as the orcs ran at me with large cleavers being drawn from their waists and with a wave of my hand I cut them in half with a wind blade at the waist as they ran at me.
"You two do not move!" I shouted loudly as the last two bandit looking human's looked lost between pissing themselves, attacking me, or running away.
And my shout made them lock as I gazed at them with my eyes gleaming as I channeled fire into my hands. "You two kneel... I have questions for you."
I looked to Anna and said with a wry smile. "I am sorry for the mess, but can you go get some guards to clean up. I will pay for any damages."
All the while... I was holding in a bit of bile at how brutal the brief skirmish had become as already the orc's had bled out on the floor. And I was very fucking curious as to how orcs were even let into the town to begin with.
Anna was stock still as she stared at me before she blinked and said quietly. "Yes my lord... I will go right now!"
As I looked back, I also saw how Grace who had been in the kitchen was looking at Morgan's form with fear... And alot of relief at seeing his corpse on the ground. So after swallowing some bile at the smell of burnt human flesh.
And piss, as the two men had seemingly decided to settle on pissing themselves. Or it could have been the now dead orcs or Morgan himself doing it in death.
Either way, I called out to Grace and said. "Grace, head outside. I need to talk to these reprobates and you need to keep other possible customer's from seeing this mess."
Grace the dark elf silently nodded and jogged past the carnage past the mess with myself watching her beautiful fat ass bouncing in those layers of silk as she went.
With that, I took a deep breath and and I looked at the two surviving men with me raising up my hand that had my signet ring symbolzing my status as a Viscount that Princess Prim gave me.
"So, you two. I want you to go over to that side of the room, and you go to that side. I have questions I am going to ask. And I expect to get the same answers so you better answer honestly."
I made the two men seperate across the large bar and there I questioned them quickly knowing I didn't have too much time. I asked them if they were part of a large gang, which they weren't. I asked them if they were bandits alongside Morgan, which they were.
Though they prefered the name 'mercenaries' and the orcs followed Morgan into the city after Morgan paid off the guards by giving them some woman they had already 'tamed' that their bandit group had broken in from some already destroyed merchant convoy they came across.
And lastly I asked where Morgan and their group had their money and supplies within the city, along with where their bandit group was outside of the city. As I knew dealing with a group of corrupt guard's, and bandits would be good to build up my reputation.
After I got the information I wanted... That was matching with the other guys due to how terrifed they were of me clearly. I also knew I would also need to deal with the highly corrupt Earl of the city itself if I wanted to also deal with the guards.
'Hmm, maybe I can use this to get Artoria to quit being a cunt to me.' I mused to myself as I saw the guards coming up behind Grace with the three guard's pulling a life cart behind them.
For the bodies obviously.
