And Sam it seemed you missed the mark on my comment. I never mentioned anything about when Alex and Josh should be posting their content nor do I agree with that sentiment as expressed by the two people who were complaining. My comment (not complaint) was that (with the benefit of hindsight) if ASWT had told their subscribers that there was an up and coming hiatus on new content then all of this back and forth commentary would not now be occuring. Also furthermore, I don't need to be reminded of the efforts that Alex and Josh put into their content. I have been a fan of them for over 2-1/2 years, was an early subscriber to their Patreon Channel and one of the first to subscribe to their Discord channel (though I did leave Discord a couple of months later as nobody seemed to be chatting :) ), so I know what they're about and what they stand for and I have sent supportive and messages of praise to them in the past. And I've even been known to not agree with them and voice that In the comments: I know, shocking isn't it. Take care. Pip. P.S. 2 people making adverse comments against 30 or so people making positive comments plus 145🖤 for the post is hardly a barrage of complaints. :)

Pip, if that was meant to be humorous, I think you missed the mark. You might think it’s “funny” to post a comment here and think it’s a one off, but please bear in mind that ASWT receive hundreds and hundreds of comments on multiple platforms, and receiving a barrage of negativity isn’t likely to encourage them to post more frequently. Alex and Josh are human - just two regular guys who happen to have a platform sharing their (insightful) views on queer representation.

Good luck with the move guys I know what it’s like. I’m in the process myself and it’s soooo stressful! And those complaining need to give it a rest. Recently I’ve subscribed to other Heartstopper reactors and I was so disappointed. Their ‘complete and unedited’ reactions are like one or two minutes longer than their edits! You get your money with J&A - each of their Heartstopper vids almost always over an hour 🤣🤣 keep doing what you’re doing you two! ❤️

I do not want to start an internet debate, but I need to address the negative comments here. I’ve had the privilege of being a moderator for this channel for a year now so I can say with absolute certainty that the gentlemen behind ASWT work tirelessly to bring you quality content as often as they can. While I understand that may not always be on a “regular” schedule like other content creators, you must realize that not everyone does this full time and that there are REAL PEOPLE behind this work with real lives and daily responsibilities they have to juggle on top of the work for this channel. There is a lot that goes into the prep, planning, and scheduling before even shooting videos, then all the editing, etc. There is also other behind the scenes work that ASWT is doing for their brand that you may not yet be aware of; just because you haven’t yet seen the results of that work doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. I have been on Patreon for quite some time and have subscribed and unsubscribed to a number of different creators over time. That’s one of the lovely things about this platform: I can choose who to support, and if at any time I’m unhappy, I can simply withdraw my support and cancel my subscription. Simple as that. I’ve done so plenty of times over the years. I’ve subscribed, unsubscribed, and resubscribed to people, or changed tiers when my financial situation has changed or when I no longer wanted/needed certain perks. The control is in your hands. There’s simply no need to be rude publicly in comments and post things you know will get you attention just because you are unhappy. Clearly you must know that video reactors don’t employ PR people, so comments like that are simply meant to be snarky and gain attention; posturing behind the safety of your computer screen is highly unnecessary when all you need to do is either reach out to a moderator with questions, or simply change your subscription. I’m going to say this on behalf of everyone in this community: ASWT and the moderators work hard to make the Discord, Patreon, and YouTube communities safe and supportive spaces for everyone. We have been so lucky that we’ve had such lovely members who have become like family, and we are fiercely protective of everyone in these spaces. We would like to keep the positive vibes going in all these communities. So to everyone who has questions or concerns about future content or timing or anything else related to this channel, please remember our community guidelines and don’t post comments about that here. You can reach out to me directly and I’ll address your concerns myself. But please try to respect the ASWT team and everyone in our space.

They’re two young content creators who have only just been able to manage for one of them to go full time on the channel; how are they going to afford a PR person?

Maybe ASWT could have just warned subscribers beforehand that there was going to be some “radio silence” so that they could then adjust their subscriptions accordingly and so not end up so disgruntled. I can afford to bear the cost of “radio silence” but some people are on a limited income and may have foregone a small pleasure to subscribe to ASWT. Maybe they need to employ a PR person.

The foundation of the community that ASWT have built is based on the principle of respect. Respectful dialogue is what allows this to remain a safe space for all. This is why we have the community guidelines here on Patreon and our community rules on Discord. Therefore, to have anyone come on here and be so disrespectful towards Alex and Josh, and essentially accuse them of a money-grab, is truly galling. In my opinion it says more about you than it does about them. For many of us, this community is the safest place on the internet, and we are fiercely protective of it. i just think it’s insane to take over two months to watch 8 episodes…especially if you knew you were moving like…you can film two episodes in one sitting and be done in 4 days and then release them weekly….i know they have a whole thing against schedules but idk it’s just makes me think they prolong very in demand series to keep people paying each month…

No, they last posted epi 7 on 11/15, it’s a bit too long to wait for the last episode when you’re paying to see it. I understand life happens, things come up but almost 3 weeks is a little excessive I think, and now they’re saying it could be another couple weeks before they start posting again. I don’t know

Take the time you need - moving is one of the hardest things to deal with since it comes not only with physical change but all the other changes that are time consuming but necessary! I remember the first time I moved out of my parents house, thinking “ WAIT WAIT WAIT! What do you mean I need to set up water/electricity/etc services?! They don’t just come with the place?!” 🫠🫠🫠
