🕑 Added 2023-09-07 22:30:33 +0000 UTCSo, as you all probably know, I've just finished up my Winterborn series. Since I like to have five active projects, that means I need to find a new project. Unfortunately, I'm stuck on Chronos, and don't really see a good way forward on that story, so that's out.
Now, since you all are my most devoted readers, I thought I'd give you all a chance to chime in, and help me pick which of the ideas I've been considering would be best to do.
Ideas I've been kicking around:
Shadowrunish - Set in a VR game using Shadowrun 4th edition rules (but not the setting, because I don't like getting sued)
Reborn in a game world - MC dies, and is reincarnated in a single-player game world. And not as the main character. Which means he has to find a way to survive the eventual hero's coming.
Reverse Isekai - Game character comes to the real world. Insanity ensues.

If you do the “rebirth in a game world”. Would it be an existing game we know, or would licensing/trademark mean you have to come up with an original game?

Glad you're doing something new! The current series aren't really for me because: - I'm about as big of a fan of characters starting out by loosing their power as I am of dnd mechanics in books, which is a bummer because that's basically System Supervillain. - Lewd Dungeon has no sex scenes or spice even though it is still charged and the MC is basically a cuck at this point - I quit Lich after the fight and because I'm not that much of a fan of female MCs - And Dark Fate never went anywhere when I read it. So as long as it's not another book with rolls I'm fine with any of them, just do what you like.
