Chapter 355 – Rewarded

That alone would be enough to make short work of the undead, but she was not finished yet.
“King, [Sanctify Spell].”
At her command, the paladin raised his hammer towards her spell, and chanted one of his own. Golden light mixed with her spell. King’s spell had granted her spell the Holy attribute as well, meaning that it would do extra holy damage equal to his charisma. And Holy was devastating to the undead.
Jets of flame, each one blue tinged with gold, fired out from that orb at her command. The fiery missiles flew unerringly through the air, blasting the undead, though they paid special attention to the priestess. Again, and again, and again the flames struck, until the orb of flames sputtered, and died, as she no longer had the mana to sustain it, and even the ashes of the priestess had been burnt.
Gracie breathed deep before drinking a mana potion in a single go, her heart still pounding like a jackhammer. It had been a long time since she had lost control like that. Since she had been made to feel helpless like that. She hated it. Absolutely hated it. She’d been weak before, but the Apocalypse had given her a second chance. Maybe have some form of Event happen which cancels everyones more powerful abilities, leaving him with just the organisation he is trying to build and very limited abilities?
