Yea I guess I have mainly been aware of debanking in the political sphere before the Steam update recently. Ultimately I think that companies should be able to refuse to work with companies that they don't want to. Then if they are forced to be 'blind' to the services the companies they are working with then they need a sort of protection, like how you mentioned with solicitation of services on Craigslist and 230. I think they obviously want to make more money but when making that as said more money comes with the risk of lawsuits then I think that is what scares them. As maybe if one lawsuit attributes this to them then that could be used as prejudice for many other cases to be used against them. Crypto is probably a solution for it but it isn't as easily accessible as the everyday man as compared to Mastercard and Visa. Maybe I am in the minority though that people care about who these companies are working with.
