Ericka Samuels--new 'do.
🕑 Added 2022-01-20 11:55:28 +0000 UTCUgh. I knew the back half of this month was going to be bad, but I had no idea how much. 6 am to 9 pm some days, with just enough time for commuting and sleeping in between. Plus Saturday hours--and I had been counting on the weekends for playing catch up.
That said, I did manage to pull this together over the weekend. I follow a couple of vintage/retro fashion accounts on Instagram and one focuses on the 70's--the very era in which Ericka Samuels, aka the Savage Girl, lives! The account owner has put her own hair in a short style that's a little reminiscent of a young Lady Diana Spencer, and since Ericka has short blonde hair also, I thought I'd try to give her a similar style. Still not %100 sure how I feel about it, but at least it's something to share! It was fun to draw her in her basic blues again at least.
Ericka Samuels appears as always with the generous permission of her creator Boggs Chaucer.

Glad you like it. I'll have to try it a few more times to really get a feel for it.

I love Ericka's new hairstyle, and I bet her hippy boyfriend Griff will too! It's the decade I'm from as well, and I've always had an affinity for it. Also, I love a woman in uniform, especially one as kind, earnest, sweet, and pure-hearted as Ericka, and naturally when Savage Girl comes bursting out of that uniform, I'm in heaven!

You'd have to ask Boggs Chaucer to be sure, but Ericka strikes me as young and idealistic and stubborn enough that she won't let this new curse get in her way of her dream or her chance to make the world a better place. Probably helps that the Savage Girl only seems to thrash the people who really have it coming.

One thing tickles me about her. Why does she stay in the police knowing full well that this job puts her under stress all the time given her condition? With such a job, it's normal that she often transforms, and that her clothing budget explodes. ^^'
