Bambu Sale
🕑 Added 2024-06-05 17:55:01 +0000 UTCI’ve been wanting to make a post like this for a while, and the current sale is amazing. I can’t overstate how much I love my Bambu P1P. I’ve been running three of these since September of last year and have not had a single issue that took more than 10 minutes to address, and only maybe 5 of those have popped up. At least 6 friends have picked up this printer since I have and they all rave about it.
You can start and manage prints from your computer and monitor from your phone with the built in camera. It is so much faster and the print quality at the fastest setting rivals the Enders at their highest quality. Bed leveling and calibration are a thing of the past. When an issue arises, the app tells you exactly what is wrong. It’s all super easy to learn whether you’re a noob or have experience with other printers.
The print ironing feature is so good that it will allow me to tackle projects like Death Star walls that previously would have been much less attractive.
There are no affiliate links here, I just like the printers that much. Also, the files that I’m currently working on now (a certain famous cockpit you all want) will be optimized for multi-color printing and print ironing (though they will still be perfectly fine for standard printers).
For diorama PLA printing the P1P model (pictured) is all you need. The more expensive models are designed around other materials, though the AMS (multi-color printing) add-on is also great, and I will be optimizing a lot of my models to utilize this in the future to save you paint time.
Ok that's all, been wanting to talk about this for awhile but wanted to make sure I'd used them for awhile first. Let me know below if you’ve tried out the Bambu printers!

I just bought a p1s yesterday and joined your patreon ahead of time. Your prints look so good that it made me want to get back I to printing. I still have a ender that I lost interest in because it was so finicky. Bambu seems like it's just what I need. I plan on picking up an AMS in a couple weeks.
Landspeeder Luke
Yes, I just mixed and matched the additional pieces
Joe
did you add extra details to the Death star control panel here vs what is in the files? Did you just paint it in the slicer or are they different models for the screens, etc?

BS collector here. Brand new to 3D printing; been wanting to get into it for a while. After much researched I finally bit the bullet and grabbed a X1C - which arrived few weeks ago and I just picked up a A1 Mini on sale, which arrived last week. (I had 150 gift card refund due to the sale happening so soon after I replaced my X1C order). Just joined here and I look forward to learning and printing your awesome hard work. Fantastic to hear you use a Bambu Labs printer too.
Michael Sons
Ok cool, thanks so much for the input!
Landspeeder Luke
Yep I mix and match. The Bambu tends to print better and faster but both work.

Hey Luke, I’m looking at purchasing one of these with the AMS multicolor attachment to try it out. Does the Overture filament work well with these printers or is the Bambu filament better?
CosmicForce3DPrints
I’ve never had an issue! I print in PLA, which doesn’t absorb moisture as fast as PETG or TPU.
teamcesar
Do you use an AMS lite? How does it do with moisture?
Shakes The Clone
Does anyone have experience with this and an X1? Curious if you think the X1 price difference is worth it. I do want to get into ABS, big time.

The K1 is kind of Creality's answer to this, which is basically Crealitys business model - others innovate then they come along and try to do it for cheaper. I think the Bambu would be "less janky" and need less tweaking, but if I had a K1 I wouldnt be rushing out to replace it with a P1 - I'd probably wait for the next model or one after that. Assuming you're happy with the K1 that is.
Greg Thompson
How does this compare to the Creality K1? That’s what I’ve been using and super happy with it but always thinking about the future.

You're the reason I got a 3d printer in the first place. I love my Bambu p1s. Highly recommend

Holy shit
Landspeeder Luke
It can do about two in 10 hours
Eric James
Question on the death star control panel how much time does that take on the multicolor print?
Jay Schmidt
Thank you for the heads up. Really leaning towards the P1S just because of the enclosure and where my current printer is located.
Jeff Pomaybo
I printed the death star control room with my P1S. I love it. Coming from and ender 3 it's night and day.
Erika Rivas
This one is definitely gonna be my next printer
Landspeeder Luke
That’s with the add on. Super easy to add later.
teamcesar
I’d like to know this too!
Eric James
Is this the one that does the multiple different colors at one time or is that that $299 add-on

I'm day one when they release a 300mm+ bed. My z offset is dialled in well enough that my DS walls are coming out fine (a liitle sanding needed, but 10 minutes at most), but the speed, reliability and no more offsetting is what I need. Everyone I know who has one has never made a single complaint other than they end up buying more than one (sadly I don't have the room). Falcon cockpit though....mmmm that will be a day long remembered.

Outstanding news all around! Literally my top 3 most wanted things (Death Star Walls, Falcon Cockpit, Multi-Color optimized prints). Thanks Luke!!! I had an A1 Combo and returned it after the recall for a P1S Combo. I loved the A1 but am digging the P1S more due to the smaller footprint and enclosed AMS. You really can't go wrong with any Bambu Printer right now and all but the A1 Mini have the same build plate size.
CosmicForce3DPrints
I am running 3 A1s and 2 A1 minis. I couldn’t imagine using any other brand of printer for selling prints. I can’t wait to see what you do in the future with multicolor prints.
The Bokehlorian
I bought the P1S + AMS system partly because of seeing the printer in your Millenium Falcon interiour video a few months ago, I already had my eye on one but that video of Star Wars diorama parts being printed really triggered me to buy one. As you said: it's hassle-free and the results of the prints are S-tier. Really tempted to buy a 2nd one with this current promotion...
Cason Pilliod
Being reading about this sale today. How does the P1P compare to the A1?
Jedi Rogar
Right on man!!! I’ll second this as I recently got the x1c with ams and truly makes me feel bad for my older printer that doesn’t get nearly as much love anymore! I’ve done a few of your models using the ams and absolutely lovin it 👏🏾👏🏾 9/10 would recommend!
